40% split is unbelievable offer. I would have been just as happy (and I've said so before) if he said he'd offered 50% split just to get the fight made, but in reality 40% plus a 2 fight rematch is massive. Far more lucrative that anything they'd get in a rematch.

I completely agree with Hearn (cue the 'Of course you do fanboy' comments) but its a no-brainer. Fighting Joshua now is the more business savvy option. IF Fury and Wilder go at it again and one of them lose, they aren't going to ever be able to make that kind of money against anyone else.

40% of a fight against Joshua would be worth, what; £20m - £25m? Considering this would eclipse a lot of big heavyweights (if not all) in this current era, Fury and Wilder should be scrambling over one another to get this fight.

What else is there to lose? You get a huge payday and two shots at the title.
Lol. You were saying the same thing about prior offers.

No one is going to bite on 40% when a Wilder-Fury rematch generates more money than ANY Joshua fight ever.

before you jump on your high horse.....

it appears that Fast-Eddie been telling porkies..... AGAIN !!

"Certainly not, we’ve never had that offer,” he told The Telegraph..... “No offer’s been sent to me. Hearn sent an offer to Tyson over the weekend but it certainly was not 60/40 and it was quite a derisory offer for Tyson..... “So that’s it. We haven’t even responded to it it was so derisory." ~ Frank Warren

that is why I decided to wait and see

Wow it’s been a strong week for DAZN.

          Canelo Jacobs confirmed.

Strong Liverpool card (will that do welll in America too?)

Bivol and world of boxing sign with matchroom - much needed individual name but also a number of fighters too.

Otha Jones 3 - promising looking youngster signs.

AJ getting upper hand in negiotiations? Surely one of the three main men will take the fight with matchroom & dazn now?

Every DAZN card has been stacked. You know people don't watch boxing when they say no one's fighting. Most posters on here only watch popular names ,and they call others casuals. Will be interesting to see what Nikosi Solomon does after that crazy loss.

Just exactly from the point the OP states.
I didn't see nothing bad in that one good questions but Hearn answered them all directly not changing the subject or stammering.

That's the one from IFL at 2.30 ish, tbh I remembered it being a bit more of a deal than it is.

Hearn seems like a good guy to interview for the YouTubers as he sings like a canary, boxing social does seem like he asks more of others than IFL as he implied he couldn't get an interview with Warren in his last one with Hearn but IFL seems like he gets extra liberties with matchroom due to his good relationship. He won't ask Warren awkward questions for **** you can see the difference in the YouTube comments of the promoters interviews always "why won't/didnt he ask this...".

Think they're mates so Kugan gets away with doing more probing to get better veiws on his channel and Eddie goes along with the no publicity is bad publicity stance.
I reckon those IFL interviews are good for both parties. Hearn plays into his persona, Kugan gets some pretty detailed answers. Don't know if he's ever had a real scoop as such, but he certainly gets new info that the press work with.

No matter what you think of Eddie, I bet you watch those interviews. He's knowledgeable, funny and they make great TV.

Ifl tv is one of the biggest boxing YouTube followed channels; therefore it’s in Eddie hearns interest to ensure he is at the fights hence why matchroom will pay for him to be there.

Don’t be fooled by thinking its only matchroom who pay him; others including frank warren do the same.
