Anyway just get the Fury/Wilder rematch done.

the WBC guidelines are there if no deal can be made

but they will make a deal, probably 50/50

I just wanna know the date of the fight is my main concern. I don't expect the negotiations to be a major issue here.

The fact is that all this fighters, Wilder, Fury, Whyte, Miller etc think they are entitled to a bigger slice of the pie while in reality they are shlt, imagine Wilder having his first PPV after 40 fights! Let that sink in and it was all due to him stepping up to fight Fury, else it is free tv while he earns 1.5m.

AJ is the biggest draw so he gets mentioned all the time, he offers much more money and 4belts, if I was Fury or Wilder and I am confident in my ability, I would receive what they ignorantly called a low ball offer and fight AJ! A chance at history baby! Bring it on! Wilder is a tool for rematching Fury, hope he loses so his value drops then He would be begging Hearn for left over fights like Chisora or Price!

so why would Wilder object to giving Fury 50% ?

they gave him 50% last time

The article clearly states they can have OPEN NEGOTIATIONS up until February 5th. Once that date hits, THEN it goes to a purse bid with the split being 60/40 in favor if Wilder.

If Fury still wants to fight Wilder than I'm sure they come closer to a 50/50 split than the 60/40 the Wbc will allow.

            F------ morons....

I inserted the bold, and then co-signed

            great point !

            I don't see a problem at all

this mandate by the WBC ensures that fight will happen regardless..... so of course both teams will agree on acceptable terms, and the last fight was 50/50

            it's on !!

I'm wondering if the WBC have ordered Wilder to defend against Fury?

Otherwise, if they can't reach a deal and Wilder isn't prepared to fight in the UK if Warren wins the bid, he could just walk away from the whole thing.

And if it's going to be a normal, open type bid, there would be nothing to stop Matchroom taking part too.

that fight is not voluntary, it is mandatory.....

The World Boxing Council conducted a voting through the Board of Governors, which resulted in a unanimous agreement to sanction a direct rematch between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

Just curious. Why exactly is it risky for Hearn again?

But what about Breazeale? Are the WBC allowed to install somebody else as their mando, over his head, without being sued?

Remember, the WBC cited a legal obligation to Breazeale as the reason for giving him their mando spot, even though he wasn't the No1 contender.
