My fellow Brits, why does Fury "get a pass" on being a drug cheat?

Didn't Roy Jones get busted for an over the counter supp, yet you see people still bring it up and not give him the benefit of the doubt. As a matter of fact his opponent got busted for the exact same thing from the same over the counter supp if i'm not mistaken

I'm not a hater of Fury but all this "people's champion" nonsense makes me laugh

I don't know why drug cheats in boxing get let off by fans

Steve Smith is vilified in Australia for ball tampering in cricket

In boxing you roid up and nobody cares as long as they can use you to try and belittle a fighter you don't like because he works or a promoter you hate

Can you IMAGINE if AJ popped for roids I mean can you IMAGINE

      It's a weird sport.

Not only that, but Whyte got popped for a stimulant. Fury got popped for a steroid. Fury also got popped for a much worse stimulant later as well.

At the end of the day, Joshua can't call himself #1 in the division until he beats Tyson Fury. Joshua nuthuggers don't like it, but it is what it is.

Fury has served his time and deserves a second chance.

Of course he can, he was #1 before Fury returned. A drug cheat coming back off a ban doesn't change that. Fury needs to work to get back where he was, it's not handed to him.

He can call himself number one but he can't call himself the undisputed champion until he beats wilder

As for Fury well he has a chance to get to wilder first again

I think him and his team have been very clever. I still have my doubts about his "mental illness" but i would be slay for questioning it. My opinion is (And am a big fan of his) he knowingly took PED and was found out. He failed his test just like the rest of his camp/stable mate, and he went on to cancel the rematch against Wlad once told, from then on it was the mental health card pulled out.

I remember when he went on the rant about gays/religion etc For me that was all a cover, and to be honest he is the only HW currently that could get away with it. I cannot imagine any other HW right now getting away with what he did.

This is why i understand and agree with Wilder in his assessment of Fury and the media in the lead up to their fight. If that was Wilder then he would have been called all sort of names, his family would be called crackheads etc.

                    "Doze belts don't mean nuffink"

So can you explain why furys nandralone exploits just simply get ignored?

I only really care about the British opinion on this as we are usually very harsh on drug cheats.
I think its outrageous the way the UKAD dealt with Fury.

A backdated ban because of Fury's ability to bankrupt them sets a dangerous precedent and really says 'Rich sportsmen are above the law'.

I despise Fury's antics out of the ring and his taunting in the ring. He will never be a true Champion in my eyes.

He gets a pass because he only did it for the mental health people
