Rigondeaux's fight against Loma may have been a blessing in disguise for him. Loma was in his prime and is now a unified 135 champ. Rigo had the experience of fighting a bigger guy with a similar olympic and amateur pedigree to him. Rigo will never face someone at 122 that is as skilled or as strong as Loma, so he should be able to easily become the undisputed champ and defend the belts into his 40s.

I seen some jumped off that to but most of em still clinging on to the luckily undefeated bum killer Charlo hahaha

I can see they are trying to re-invent Rigo and all, by giving him some soft touches. I am just waiting for the day they up his opposition, and put him on the televised portion of the card. Will he completely stink out the house like he has done so many times? Oh yes he will. All it will take is a fighter who is afraid to engage, and Rigo will just sit back and enjoy the lack of action and activity. He will not engage himself, he will be right back in his boring ass comfort zone! LOL

Whatever, Loma has Salido problems anyways.

Rigo was the one attempting to twist Loma's arms out of their sockets every time he tied Loma up. Or that one time he tried to give Loma Whiplash towards the end of the 5th round. That is why Loma suckered him at the end of the round.Last edited by deanrw; 01-14-2019, 04:23 PM.

Rigo caved mentally and had what amounted to a nervous breakdown in there. He s-h-i-t himself and ruined his entire legacy by quitting on his stool and faking an injury. I actually felt bad for the guy because he can never recover from that loss. His corner should have slapped him across the mouth and forced him to dig deep like a champion, but they just let him quit so they have some blame too. Loma, for his part, didn't really even get warmed up.

All that skill ... lost to Salido.
