You do realize that Jacobs is a champion right now right and he wasn't before ? And he can also get a career high payday with Canelo
What did that have to do with Eddie Hearn though? Jacobs is the IBF champ because GGG got stripped, and Jacobs was #2 so he got the mandatory title shot. Has nothing to do with his promoter.

What does have to do with his promoter though, is the fact that Jacobs has had his last 3 fights in his home town and nobody went.

I’d stay with DAZN, Hearn hadn’t done sh** with Jacobs for the first two fights but he got him the IBF belt last time out and I’d imagine with Canelo fighting on DAZN a matchup between them is probable in the next 12-18 months.
He should unify against Andrade IMO, winner gets the Canelo-GGG III winner for all the marbles.

He won't fight Andrade though, at least not yet. They are close and said they will only fight once other options are exhausted.

If Jacobs doesn't get Canelo next, who would he fight next? Culcay since he is the next up in the IBF rankings?

Hearn needs the Canelo fight badly for Jacobs next while DAZN probably needs the GGG fight badly lol. Unfortunately that leaves Jacobs on the outside looking in.

I doubt they meet either Hearn’s US stable is too thin to make those kind of matchups.

Culcay is sh** IMO, no interest in that fight, but it would be a typical weak IBF mandatory. Wouldn’t surprise me if that was next.

Fighting Lemieux would be a good move, nice style matchup for Danny and the winner could conceivably claim to be the #1 Contender for the lineal title.

The problem there is I don't think you can trust Lemieux to ever make 160 again and what does that fight really matter at SMW?

I really don't know who Jacobs gets next if it isn't Canelo. I mean he can go to the PBC and get Charlo next and then return to fight Canelo on DAZN. That could be an option.

If that was possible that would be a great move. I think DAZN need Jacobs to headline a show though so I couldn’t see it tbh, which is a shame.

              Could Saunders be an option?
I wouldn’t of fought so cause of Hearn and Warren’s relationship but he was set to face Andrade on DAZN

That was a mandatory situation though. And more likely he gets his title shot vs Andrade later in the year over Jacobs.

Jacobs is a FA though, not signed to DAZN. I don't see why he couldn't fight Charlo and then return for Canelo later in the year.

I’d be surprised if Hearn was ok with that, I could imagine Jacobs being froze out of the Canelo sweepstakes on DAZN, if he went back to Showtime. I hope I’m wrong though and he faces Charlo, Andrade or another top fighter at 160.

We’ll probably end up getting some meaningless IBF defence in a half empty arena in New York.

                    He should follow GGG.

I dont think Jacobs can fight Charlo. Charlo having that interim title rules him out of being ranked by the other organisations. I dont think the IBF allow optional defenses outside their top 15.
