That's the point, and it's how these guys get double paychecks and go to PBC. They get their fight purse, but they also get the promoters cut.

I think fighters have to take some blame when they sign with certain promoters! Exhibit A: Tevin Farmer! He should've known when he signed with Hearn, that the Tank fight was gone! What did MatchRoom have @ 130 for him? What is Andrade going to do? Canelo don't want it! Now what? Oscar is planning Canelo vs. GGG III. It should be Jacobs vs. Andrade, but we'll see. I know they're good friends going way back to the amateurs, but what else can they do but fight each other?
