Is Luis Ortiz the greatest myth in boxing history?

Ortiz first step up fight was 2015. He was suspended after the Kayode in 2014 fight for 6/8 months , he wasn't avoided by anyone. He was given several opportunities to fight certain guys including Whyte in 2016 which he chose Dave Allen instead . Klitschko would have defeated Ortiz quite easily , elusive speed puncher like Haye were more threatening.Comment

To say whyte didnt duck him though, or hasnt been for a long time, means you must be the one who is thicker than expired milkshake. Wbc even wanted to make an eliminator as an upsideComment

So if u wrote it, its gospel? The aj duck is questionable because he did in fact jump ship to fight deotay, but theres no indication hearn wanted aj anywhere near him anyways.

And I didn't say Whyte didn't duck Ortiz or hasn't been for a long time. I said he isn't ducking him. He's looking for bigger fights against one of the top 3, particularly the number 1. That's absolutely fair to me.
It looks like AJ is after one of the three fighters ranked immediately below him. Again, I'd say that's fair.
For the rest, well, Ortiz represents a chance for them to make their name and announce themselves as serious contenders. That's probably not what Ortiz would want to hear though. He wouldn't be my choice either as there are less risky ways to jump up the rankings.
Looks like Joe Joyce might be trying to take the quick route through Ortiz. Fair play to him if that's the case.Comment

True about the ama fights but you know, headgear and shorter rounds, less emphasis on power punchin. But yeah still lots of scraps. And he hasnt been in any tough fights as a pro or taken any hard longlasting damage due to his good defense i mean. I dunno, he just seems to be unaffected by age so far. My fear as a fan is overnight body collapse and non-cooperationComment
