He really is the bogeyman of the division because people still scared to fight him. He's not unbeatable as Wilder showed but people still scared to fight him out.

    He'd KO Whyte no question
Word, he would kill whyte. Was funny how whyte barked at him on social media and luis bit back and he went dead silent after that LOL. Eddie mustve been mad at his whipping boy looooolol. Then the usual excuses 'he has nothing to offer, no speak english, no personality' bla bla. Because a bacurin and a helenius or a malcolm tann had so much to offer. I tell you what ortiz has, a top ten ranking with at least 2 of the top ten sanctioning bodies that you can take. And a final eliminator with him that they ducked

Who needs him? Who needs a ustinov, dinitrenko, joe hanks, dawejko, takam, breazeale, helenius on their records? So if he doesnt have a title no one should fight him? Or no one without a title in boxing should get a fight? Wtf are u saying man?!? Ur asinine reasoning just blows my mind. Ill tell u who needs him, everyone who wants a good name on his record and who wants to prove he is the best by fighting the best, sadly no champion nowadays seems to subscribe to that agenda and you pathetic haterate drinking casual fans just make it 100x worse. Ortiz is a very good hw, regardless of his record. Its from his performances that you see it (or dont, if youre a blind dksab casual). Not his fault he is ducked and is cuban so it was hard for him to defect and turn pro at an early age.
His perfomances don't match the hype. Scott and Allen, Kaufman in particular, everyone say's he is a straight killer cuts off the ring well etc and then says he perfoms to the level of the opposition to excuse him or oh no his just a counter puncher it's not his style to take out guys early and then in the next breath yeah he whoops AJ and Usyk quick and easy.

If he was the killer you want us to believe in he'd have finished Wilder in the round he had him out on his feet in or atleast dropped him, Wilders chin is good but he's been dropped by worse guys than Ortiz so it is do-able. Also outboxing Wilder isn't the unique to Ortiz or Fury so it isn't as impressive when Spzilka and Washington do it as well.

Ortiz needs to fight the guys in the above to build ranking, reputation and legitimise his claims of greatness. Increasing his value as a scalp and moneywise so more want to fight him probably too late though.

I'll do my best to understand you. Given that the original statement was that Ortiz is being ducked.

Joshua needs Ortiz? Of course he doesn't. Whyte? Why would he need him given the fights he's being talked about for?

Maybe he's a chance for someone like Miller to make a statement. But there's easier statements to make. Look what Whyte has done in his last couple of fights.

        I won't even dispute whether he's a good fighter. He's clearly a dangerous opponent.

But Ortiz isn't a prospect. He isn't a big name on the wane. He's the old man of the top 10 with an average resume.

He'll get fights. He'll earn decent money. But none of the top fighters need Luis Ortiz. They're certainly not ducking him - he hasn't earned that kind of status and probably never will.

Absolutely he is. He might be a good fighter but there's no proof he is.

And it makes quite a statement about those refusing to fight him, as well

He hasn't always been 40. He's been ranked for a few years, and no one seems to want the fight.

                  Take Dillan Whyte for example

The clown has fought noone before being gifted a shot by weak transient titlist wilder so wilder can hold onto the title for longer than he'd normally.

Look bud, I'm a GGG fan. I've heard all these lines from Canelo fans for years. We don't need him. Who has he fought? He brings nothing to the table. I've heard it all before. One thing, no one seems to say, is that Ortiz can't ****.

We all watched Whyte run to Chisora after calling out Ortiz.

Ortiz may be a myth, but the problem is, no one seems to be ready to dispel that myth.
