    In other words:

"We had a close competitive fight with aging older fighter who was only a bum beater according to our fans anyway. And defeated some British bartender on top of that. Failed PED test this year. Why we're not in the discussion?"

He should have been suspended more by the way. He still has been able to fight 3 times and was not really punished.

I don't know, I just don't see anyone currently in his divisions braining canelo by a mile. We now are certain the charlos aren't ready. Andrade of course not. Saunders is like apoor man canelo. Ggg, probably the best opponent. Jacobs, that's a good fight but canelo wins. Spence, too predictable. Thurman, another good fight but canelo finishes him. Porter gets kod I honestly think the two best challenges to canelo are Thurman and Hurd.

Canelo and his team are a bunch of divas that thinks the whole boxing world revolves around them. Your boy failed a test, got a gift Draw and got a disputable decision in the rematch.

This is a tough debate, not what your saying specifically, but in general.

Canelo fought two great fights with GGG, and won the rematch, moved up in weight, and captured a trinket belt.

But he failed a drug test, fair or not, he failed it, on paper, he is easily one of the top fighters of the year, and certainly the pound for pound king based on his resume.

BUT, to claim that American writers are racist towards Mexican fighters is a tough sell, if anything, Mexican fighters are more beloved in the US than American fighters are, I can provide countless examples of that, growing up many of my favorite fighters were from Mexico, and that has not changed over the years, not because of race, but because of the heart and passion of the fighters.

If I thought Mexicans, or anyone else were being treated differently because of race, I would shout from the mountain top, I am an AA, not Latino, but a minority, and while it seems like fighters from eastern Europe get a ton of love in the US, I am not sure this specific case is racist.

I know Canelo is a threat to anyone. I want to see someone who fight and win in convincing fashion against a few top 10 and one or two top 5 in the 160 lbs before considering a 50/50 fight against Canelo. We have to see Thurman more to see If he ready for the tops. About Hurd, I need he ups he defense more to complement with his pressure and big size.

Exactly I agree. The current crop is stagnating because if their refusal to fight each other. Canelo is too seasoned for them all imo.

When you're the best you're held to a higher standard. Haters unknowingly hold them to a higher standard than they're own favorite fighters. Give their guys props while attempting to ish on a guy who fares great against better comp.
