There ain't such thing as 'many Lemiuex fans', man. He's a fun, exciting boxer to watch when he's matched well, and seems like a genuinely nice dude, but no-one is gonna give him a snowballs chance except possibly by an improbable hail Mary. There was some (a little) hype around him back in 2013 - 14 when he'd been on a bit of KO run, but the Saunders fight is too fresh in everyone's minds right now.

That said, as I commented earlier, that doesn't necessarily make it an awful fight either and there is something to the fact that Lemieux has been draining like hell to make 160 for a few years.... he probably will be stronger and whilst I think his size will be a liability against most of the guys at 168 against Canelo that shouldn't be an issue. Should be a fun fight as long as it lasts.

Of course there many Lemieux fans, Canadians went to watch Lemieux vs Saunders. Same as those for Adonis Stevenson. Canadian boxing has its fair share of boxing fans just like Brits going to see Brook regardless if he’s been KO’d...

It’s obvious that Canelo going to fight Lemieux at 168. Lemieux is one of the biggest punchers in boxing, GGG showed how much better he was, but they will make this fight for Canelo v Lemieux because David is a much higher level than Rocky Fielding. DAZN needs a lot of patience for Canelo to fight a competitive fight again after those 2 gift decisions against GGG, they won’t take that risk again for a long time

oscar and his stooge gomez will try to convince canelo to take a fight with lemueix they have been wanting this for years. canelo better tell them to piss off and come up with a better opponent. I remember when canelo demanded a fight with lara and he got it. you have danny or andrade both champs available shiiiit even deverynchenko would be better than lemiuex.
