Tank is and has always been with Calvin Ford and that will NEVER change. Just like Tank and AB will ALWAYS be close as AB introduced Tank to the professional ranks and got Tank signed to Mayweather Promotions. He trained with Cunningham that camp to workout with AB and the rest of the group to see how it went and it was cool then he went back with HIS guys in Baltimore.

Tank Davis is an exciting puncher that's easy to market but special...no. He looks great against the right type of fighter and if he's matched well he'll be a big earner. As a fighter he's some what limited like Top Rank's Lopez or GBoy's Garcia. Against a good boxer with footwork Davis will have real problems and at 135 he'll fight bigger stronger fighters. Davis's best win was against Pedraza at 130 but that's only because Pedraza simply stood and exchanged with a puncher. In a rematch, at 135, I'm not sure Davis beats Pedraza. As mentioned, Davis can be a special attraction but as a fighter... a master boxer like Lomachenko eats him up.

Davis disposed of Pedraza as the C grade fighter that he is. Featherfisted Pedraza turned Loma into the elephant man.

We saw Loma look confused and out of ideas everytime Pedraza turned southpaw, EVERYTIME. Go watch again. What is he gonna do to Davis who is a natural southpaw, non-stop aggressive, younger, highly skilled, with missiles from odd angles in both hands.

Almost everywhere Loma goes these days, the Davis question comes up. Real fans with no agendas know what they are seeing. Most aren't sure Loma has the goods to beat him. I, on the other hand, am certain Loma loses to Davis and by KO.

Davis earns because Tank is a one punch KO artist and just like Gatti he's exciting. But special? IMO he doesn't appear to be much better than Gatti, faster yes but that's it. People love KO artists and he'll be a draw as long as he doesn't run into a fighter like Lomachenko because that fight plays out like a Maywether/Gatti sequel for the very same reason...Master boxer beats a limited puncher
