Davis earns because Tank is a one punch KO artist and just like Gatti he's exciting. But special? IMO he doesn't appear to be much better than Gatti, faster yes but that's it. People love KO artists and he'll be a draw as long as he doesn't run into a fighter like Lomachenko because that fight plays out like a Maywether/Gatti sequel for the very same reason...Master boxer beats a limited puncher

All have/had similar KO% through the same amount of fights & have no where near the following Tank has/had during the same time. Unless someone can refute it with credible information I don't see how you can deny or act like tank solely has built this following on his own.

Gatti won no rounds against Mayweather & got abused. Pedraza & Linares won rounds against Lomachenko. I don't see how Lomachenko & Tank could be a Maywether Gatti sequel unless it's a watered down version.

Floyd wasn't famous when he beat Hernandeza. Floyd became known when he started spouting "best ever that laced up the gloves". Although Floyd is smarter and more articulate than Davis, Tanks attitude is actually a promotional asset.

He's too dumb to be a superstar. He mumbles all the time and can't even do a basic interview.

He won't have the same success at higher weights were he'll be facing bigger guys that can take his punch. Heck, he hasn't faced any top guy in his own divsion yet. He might not get past Berchelt or Machado as Gervonta has yet to face a puncher in his career.
