I think we can all agree that because hatton is smaller, it allows him to hold more muscle mass and still be able to make weight. Because of this he is almost always going to be stronger then his opponents at 140 and sometimes at 147.

He would definetly be stronger then mayweather at anyweight, no question about it. If he could keep mayweather against the ropes i think hatton could definetly win.

Ndou was able to catch mayweather against the rops, castillo was able to get mayweather against the ropes in both fights, and so was corrales once or twice.

It isnt hard to do and hatton is exceptionally good at it. I think mayweather would be doing his shoulder-roll all night, trying to get off the ropes. But the shoulder-roll won't do **** against a crushing left hook to the body.

Not only do i think its possible for Hatton to win a 12 round decision, i also think its unlikely, but possible, that hatton knocks mayweather out using his constant pressure, brute force, and extreme strength to make mayweathe move all around the ring.

I think a fight like this would be more a test of conditioning. Hatton is a stamina freak, but so is mayweather. Both have some of the best staminas the sport has seen, but id say hatton has been tested a bit more than mayweather has in this department. We'd have to see on fight night.

You can get Floyd against the ropes but his defense is much more than his patented shoulder roll. He has the best body movement of anyone in boxing. If you watch his first title fight against Genaro Hernandez or his fight against Corralles, it looked like Floyd was untouchable. If Hatton was able to accumulate punches over 12 rounds, I give him a "puncher's chance."

You know it's funny, I went back into my personal archive & was watching the Maywaether/Judah fight last night, & it confirmed to me why PBF is the p4p king, cuase the Judah that walked in to that ring would have probably defeated any WW, incuding Hatton. He did alot better then most do these day against Mayweather, but Mayweather still destroyed him. Sorry to say it but Hatton doesn't have a thing in his toolbox to bother PBF, His best bet is to go in there with speed and agility and chase Floyd down, cut off the ring & just let go.

First of all, if you suggest that Hatton tries to throw punches at the same time as Mayweather, especially at Range, I garuntee you Floyd will beat him to the punch every single time.

Hatton trying to box his way in against Mayweather is an absolutely ridiculous gameplan. You mention Hatton's jab as a key ingridient to his success, especially if he doubles or triples it up. You're forgetting that Mayweather has a better jab than Hatton does. And I still think Mayweather would be able to counter with the right over Hatton's jab (even though you claim he wouldn't).

Mayweather's footwork and footspeed, wouldn't even give Hatton a chance to get inside... once Hatton closed the distance, Floyd would go back to the middle of the ring, and Hatton would have to start over again.

With that gameplan you have there, Floyd would just force Hatton to fight at range, and would absolutely embarrass him.

What Hatton needs to do, is have tremendous head-movement, cut off the ring extremely well, and pressure Floyd onto the ropes, exactly how Castillo and Chavez did. He needs to fight dirty, by holding and hitting, everything he can possibly think of, and make it as ugly as he can.

If Hatton boxes, Floyd TKO Hatton in 7.
I think you're right in how Hatton would need to beat Mayweather. I don't think he stands a chance boxing him. His best shot comes from turning it into a high pressure slug fest against the ropes.
