I always thought Ricky Hatton was very dirty. Jeff Fenech was rough but Hatton was dirty IMO.

Wilfredo Gomez, Orlando Salido, Antonio Margarito, Joel Casamayor were also dirty fighters.

Not sure I'd classify Ruiz and Wlad as "dirty" but they held so damn much and Wlad did the leaning on the opponent so much that they are in the dirty discussion somewhat.
Wlad's fight with Povetkin was a disgrace...he deliberately pushed the Russian's head down continuously and never got a warning for it. But otherwise, Wlad didn't headbutt or hit below the belt...how could he as he was usually taller than that other guy.

Ali grabbed opponents behind the head in his later years when he was leaning on the ropes. Not very dirty but illegal.

Hopkins and Ward were both dirty fighters. Jeff Horn is a dirty fighter.

Kabary Salem had the most dangerous head probably ever. He actually headbutted two... referees - How crazy is that?

Think about that. Also, one opponent of his passed away after head-butt filled contest.

Luis Alberto Lazarte was really bad.

Amnat Ruenroeng and Knockout CP Freshmart are dirty as hell. Hard to believe They don't lose points regulary.

Diego Chaves tried to eye-gouge both Thurman and Brandon Rios.
Did La Motta always fight dirty?
        How so?

I know he won the title by throwing Cerdan to the canvas. Cerdan basically had only his right hand after that. Somehow made it through 9.
Prob. would have taken the title back if not for the plane crash.

Here's Jake saying Cerdan was the 2nd greatest fighter of all time after SRR.

Here's highlights of LaMotta vs Cerdan.

Hopkins and Ward had that blue collar grit/grind style that they used against opponents who were physically stronger than them. It’d be ugly to watch, but I wish more fighters would use those same tactics nowadays.

                1. Hopkins - His dirty tactics were so graceful I remember HBO showing highlights in the 2nd Pascal fight.

                2. Salido - B-Hop style but with a much higher punch volume.

                3. Rigo
                4. Lara
                5. Holyfield
                6. Golota
                7. Wlad - Be real, he got away with murder.

                    Georges Carpentier

Just look at his fight against Louis Mbarick Fall aka "Battling Siki", pure disgust. Every time i watch this fight it STILL pisses me off.
