Too much weight difference and Flyd hasn't been active. Too much time has passed at this point.

But I do think Canelo is more competitive in a rematch, hes gotten better since n seems to be getting better. I wont say he was too GREEN for Floyd or wasn't ready.. because he was the only one who was seen as a threat, bigger n just beat an undefeated Trout. Canelo was a legitimate opponent.

I remember when people were saying Floyd was dodging or was going to dodge Canelo then as fast as the fight was announced then came the comments dismissing Canelo IMO the timing n expedient nature of that particular fight being made was a shock factor to most.

Canelo has great options atm at 160, 154lbers coming up to enhance his own reseme. Don't really think he needs Floyd atm but a Mayweather on his record even in a loss boosts it so much more.

I like and respect Canelo as a boxer, but this is ridiculous. Although as I heard someone say about him earlier, "How is Canelo Alvarez like a 'Reverse Mortgage'? They both target the elderly."

If you think about it, his four biggest fights were against dudes 35 or older (which aint a good look for a guy who is only 28):

Mayweather (36)
Cotto (35)
GGG I (35)
GGG II (36)

Thats not to mention Shane Mosley, whose name looks nice on a resume but was 40 at the time.

Like I wrote, I respect Canelo as a fighter, but dude has a type; and Oscar's comments don't help.
