You are exactly the kind of idiot I referenced in my post. No evidence scientific or otherwise that these fighters are doping. Just your failed attempt to look intelligent while your ignorance is abundantly clear.

Which fighters? The five I listed consecutively, four of whom either failed drug tests or were otherwise caught (Mosley)? With the fifth being Holyfield, or "Evan Fields" as he also called himself. Those fighters?

Shane Mosley never failed a drug test... despite taking banned PEDs. Evander Holyfield never failed a drug test... despite taking banned PEDs. So if neither of them ever failed a drug test, don't you think your stance of "innocent until proven guilty" is at the very least somewhat naive? I'll give you a hint: it is, extremely so.

Both Spence and Brook might never fail a drug test, but I can assure you they have both indeed taken banned PEDs, as have many others who never came up dirty on a test. Has Anthony Joshua yet failed a test? No. Did Juan Manuel Marquez ever fail a test? No. Beterbiev? No. I could go on and on and on. I'm just giving you obvious examples here - with no bias either towards nor against any particular ethnicity or nationality - yet you're so entrenched in your mistaken belief of the infallibility of a drug test that you refuse (or are simply not able) to see what is right in front of your eyes.

If you would prefer to live in ignorance, be my guest, but my advice instead would be to educate yourself a bit on this topic and do some research rather than obstinately refusing to budge from the mantra of "innocent until proven guilty" out of sheer blind mislead will.

The irony is that BJS was shetting all over Canelo before he himself got popped .
I don't think either of those are "good examples"!

Saunders struggles with making weight for years then goes with Ingle, a known steroid user and coach of known steroid users, and makes weight easily. Too coincidental (for me) that he then fails a drug test.

        Canelo? I don't buy the "tainted meat" explanation so . . . . .

Spence and Garcia obviously and I'm sure you already knew that. Don't try to change the topic after you've been exposed with your disingenuous post.

I stopped reading after that so you just wasted your time with that other garbage you posted.

No, not exactly. I'm not condoning cheating - which is precisely what this is - in fact I used to be very anti-doping (and share the same kind of frustrations with it as Paulie Malignaggi) and was one of the first if not the first to call out Anthony Joshua on these forums a few years ago for his blatant steroid use. The thread reached 34 pages and is here if you would like to have a look: https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...oshua+cheating

But I've mellowed on this topic over time after doing a fair amount of research and coming to realise just how prevalent - and unfortunately, unstoppable - PED usage in all sports is, even at lower levels but especially at the higher ones. I feel sorry for any genuinely clean athlete in this day and age because they are really up against it, particularly in a sport like boxing where there is a very real risk to one's personal safety.

And the thing is- I am a fan of Spence and Brook, despite the fact that they were both clearly doping for their fight against each other (and anyone who disputes that simply doesn't know what they are looking at) and both still passed VADA's testing procedure.

It comes to the point where if you don't allow yourself to be a fan of any boxer in the modern age who isn't 100% clean, then you might as well not be a fan of the sport at all. Shane Mosley, Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Roy Jones Jr., Fernando Vargas- these are some of my favourite fighters of the past 25 years, yet all were undisputedly taking banned PEDs at some point in their respective careers. And that's just a very short list of some of the most prominent cases, I could go on and on.

Plus, you have some fanatical fanboys on here who are overly sensitive about any perceived criticism of their favourite fighter(s), and I cannot be bothered dealing with people who have more teeth than points on their IQ, so I wanted to make it clear that I'm not here to attack any specific boxers, I'm just making the point that passing VADA (or USADA, or any other independant drug testing agency) testing does not automatically prove you are a clean athlete and if you think it does you need to do more research on this topic. Though as I said, I do agree that the more stringent testing the better, regardless.
Good points. But you still got to call them on cheating; that's what it is.

            Thanks.

What’s the major difference between Wada and Vada?

By putting parentheses on the word unknowingly I figured most would understand the sarcasm . But ...

Firstly, that part you bolded is what's known as a rhetorical question (look it up) and it was merely used to further illustrate my point that drug testing is unfortunately not quite as simple as "pass = clean athlete; fail = dirty athlete"- a point which seemingly flew straight over your head. But I won't hold it against you because you admittedly didn't bother to read the rest of the "garbage" I wrote (though how you assessed it as garbage without actually reading it is a mystery to me).

Secondly - and of least importance since you basically just conceded defeat in the argument with your last post anyway - the fighters' names you were actually looking for were Spence and Brook. Those were the two I accused of taking banned PEDs, not Mikey Garcia. Go back and read (not your strong point, I know). I never accused Garcia of anything, primarily because I'm not convinced he is a drug cheat.

He will of course come under more scrutiny for this fight considering he has made the effort to go and work with Victor Conte directly in an attempt to bulk up in weight in an effective manner - and you can guarantee that Conte knows all about Spence's PED usage and will have informed Garcia (though I'm sure he's already well aware since it's not exactly the most well kept secret in boxing) - but scrutiny is all it will be. I don't accuse people for no reason and thus far I've never accused Garcia of anything, so get your facts straight.

testing is clearly a sham but if it makes the casuals feel good.
