Too bad Roy Jones Jr. didn’t have a worthy rival in the mid to late 90’s.
He would be much more appreciated now. He was on another level. He would have danced on Ward.

RJJ except if held in Oakland. Then Andre allowed to do a Kessler on him.

Here we go again. The guy everyone admires more just walks through the guy who never lost. I think it's a points fight. Roy didnt just blast out everyone, even in hes prime. He struggled with Griffin just a year later, and I think Ward is far better than Griffin, with a comparable jab and left hook lead that would trouble Jones.Difficult points win for Jones.

Jones probably knocks him out BUT if Jones is testing VADA year round, who can say?

I don't think so. We're talking peak Super Six Ward before his shoulder went out right? Even Roy said this would be an extremely tough fight for him. Roy wins, but probably like a 8-4 or 7-5 type of decision.

If Roy fights Ward around 2016 when he had a shoulder problem and was super inactive for 2+ years? Then Roy in a dominating fashion.

I think people forget just how good Ward was from 09-12.

The Roy Jones from early to mid 90s is the best fighter I've ever seen and I think he would beat any SMW ever.
