After fighting Ortiz and then Fury why would Wilder accept 60-40?

To get the fight. It's a two fight deal. 2nd fight 50-50 I presume. Or maybe something complicated based on decision vs KO.

In my view 40% is $25M+

You're assuming that the fight would be in the U.K. I presume? The man has fought Ortiz and then Fury and had a successful ppv. Joshua is NOT the champion. I wouldn't take 60-40.

If they turned down $50M to fight in the US before, exactly what is going to convince them to fight in the US in the future? Hubris has its limits and legacy and mathematics have to give way. An avg of 45% on a two fight deal with Joshua gets Wilder generational money. I'm not sure what the upside is in turning that down. A decision loss to Fury or hand injury against Breazeale could take that away.

he significantly raised his profile with the UK fans

              I think 35% - 37.5% would get it done

FACT: if they really that fight, it would simply happen

like I said months ago..... when Joshua's numbers drop noticeably, Hearn will suddenly have no problem negotiating that fight

What you guys are failing to see is that Wilder has fought two of the top 4 heavies in his last two fights. And his ppv sales of over 300k doesn't warrant him taking 60-40. He is a belt holder and Joshuamis a belt holder. You guys are either acknowledging that the fight will be in the U.K. or that Wilder only deserves 40%. That doesn't jive with me sorry.

I think he barely deserves 40%, and I KNOW that fight will be in the UK

not once have I ever considered the possibility that it will happen in the USA..... no chance !

                    which is fair enough

Joshua is HUGE, the dude sells out Wembley..... nobody has ever said anything like that about Wilder

Joshua is the STRONG a-side in that matchup, so he will have home advantage and he will have the lions share of the split

if Wilder were to land that fight in the UK, and get 40%..... he should be as happy as a pig in shlt..... because that is the very best deal he could possibly expect

I don't think it will happen

I think that he will have to accept 35% - 37.5% to land that fight

but Joshua needs to stop ducking, we all know what's up

I can guarantee you that Wilder will not take 40%. Why would he? They won't even be fighting fighting next because Joshua has shown a track record of being scared of Wilder. Now he comes out of the wood work when he thinks Wilder is vulnerable and wants a fight after 2-3 years knowing the a Fury rematch might be in the works. You even said that he's needs to stop ducking lmao.

And while Joshua is huge to you in the U.K., his gates don't dictate that. Joshua is only the A side in the U.K. He isn't the hvw champion. Wilder would be a fool to take 40% or the ridiculous 35-37% lmao.
