He was happy making 500k-1mil a fight in his prime, and now he's way past it. Had too much money in the bank to find the motivation to get back to work after the Jacobs loss... I don't blame him.

Peter took a path of least resistance to his title and then got a rude awakening by gabe rosado and got rudely put to sleep by jacobs. What went wrong is that his mental fortitude wasn't as good as any of his team thought. shalt

Plus he was on the backside of his prime against jacobs then wasted further years by being inactive and then fighting tune ups

he had no amateur background... its only so far you can get without it, very few guys last long without it. Not to mention he got a taste of money and didn't stay hungry and in the gym like he should have being he wasn't super skilled... for a guy without amateur experience he did pretty good in the sport, sadly most will call him a bum tho

Ironically, the worst he's had was getting wobbled by Jacobs and improperly stopped when he could have continued. Never been on back, always comes to fight. A solid B-level that could still be a gatekeeper, but he seems not to have the same fire. Like Clottey used to be dangerous early on

Welp, time to revisit this because Kid Chocolate appears to have taken a HUGE step backward. Did Angulo even win a round against Carnelo?

He has trouble taking a punch. Angulo hurt him every time he landed.

Should have never retired. He was better before the lay off. Hes fallen so low.

Nothing went wrong. He was just simply not as good as he tried to convince people he was.
