Learning boxing and muay made me realize how dangerous one can be. That's why I'm more calm and apprehensive whenever someone's about to cross that line... I actually shy away from it

I was born in a home with 2 parents, I don't get into street fights. Leave that ilk for the dogs.

Because you could get hurt?.. Sometimes there is no way out, you must fight. I trained boxing and MMA, for a very very short time I thought I could beat anybody, after training, not so much. As to call myself dangerous, not in a million years.

I notice most street fights are standing. So, if someone is a great boxer and has good takedown defence, that would easily make him much better at street fights correct?

I think the opposite is also true. Those who practise and do good in street fights can apply their striking skills to boxing.

            What do you guys think?

Of course it makes you a better street fighter. I thought that was well known to be honest.

Does it mean you'll win every street fight when a lot of street fights go to the ground? No, but it will certainly help you on the feet and with the pressure, etc.

                You haven't learned much then...

Of course you have to fight back if you have to. I'm just saying that if there's a choice, I'd rather not... A simple buakaw kick to the knee will give you lawsuits and bills for reimbursements.

You have to learn how to function during an adrenaline rush, and there aren't many moments where you're offered that opportunity, if not you won't be able to think straight, but once you do everything slows down and you're able to process things around you much more easily.
