Brooks career was horribly mismanaged and then he was led like a lamb to the slaughter for a big payday. He should of fought Vargas instead or done anything but fight GGG. He shortened his career and who knows if he would have made more cumulatively over a longer career than the farce that was him against GGG.

But they don't act like ******s wherever they go and they actually put their money where their mouths and fight top opponents, not just talk about it. At least Wilder have stepped up a little this year doe, but got a gift draw and is still acting like a moron.

Trout isn't world class. And definitely not the version Charlo fought.

I never said he wasn't robbed. He was but he was also exposed for being one dimensional and felling in love with his own power.

Loma clearly won his tougher than expected fight. Charlo didn't. Golovkin's tougher than expected fight was vs Jacobs the MW no 2 at the time. Charlo's wasn't. Don't act like these situations are the same.

For the record I did say Korobov was underrated going into this fight in ShoulderRoll's thread, but it still doesn't change the fact that Charlo, if he was on the same level as Loma and GGG, would've won this fight clear and decisive like GGG and Loma do when they fight over matched opponents.

No the KDs weren't crucial as the fight wasn't close and couldn've gone either way. Fury was robbed, plain and simple.

Wilder did get credit from me for not giving up. Right after the fight I made this thread:

              https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...d.php?t=799896
Jmw charlo clearly won and had a bad card. Mw charlo clearly won the last 2 rounds of a close fight. In mw charlos case the context of the fight (opponent changes week or so before the fight and is better than intial opposition) and the decision I’m his brother’s fight seemed to play a role in the fight being close.

Again no excuses for a less than expected performance but to suggest they got exposed is silly. They might not have shown many dimensions but they still won. Good boxers win on the nights they are not at their best.

They all won closer than expected fights so the situations are very similar despite the scores being wider.

have any of you acctually followed the charlos entire careers, so that you are capable of giving a fair assessment of their abilities?

both charlo's beat brook easily on kell's best night. guaranteed knockout.
