Stop it. Am not a fan of both twins but both would have broken Brook's eye socket especially the 154 twin. Who exactly is this prime brook you all speak off 'cos I didn't see that guy beat anybody of note other than a bunch of cab drivers and then a win many consider debatable over a limited Shawn Porter. His moment to show that he was that good was against Spence and he came up short and don't tell me he was winning early or some bull crap like that because a fight , last time I checked is actually 12 rounds not eight rounds or 6 rounds which brooks was winning or drew. Great fighters face adversity and come back or show flashes of brilliance, brook hasn't done either since his two losses.
Prime Brook would have destroyed the Charlo Sisters

Prime Brook is a myth, like prime Tyson. A short period of time where you barely accomplish anything of note can't be called a "prime".Comment

He did arguably win, what the hell are you talking about. The fight was close and could've gone either way. You yourself said as much.
As for the topic, I don't know about destroy but I would definitely put money on Brook if he fought both twins. LOL @ anybody saying 'no he definitely wouldn't'.
Unlike Charlos, Brook has been in the ring with world class opponents. He beat Porter, lost to GGG and Spence. But even in the fights he lost he was game and held his own.
Charlos are yet to prove that they can hang with good/very good opposition. Let alone world class operators.
I thought PBC/LDBC fanboys have learned their lesson after their most vocal favourite fighters, Wilder and Charlos, have been brought back down to earth this December.
I should've known better.Comment

This is a very weird post. You seem to be picking against the charlos because they are with Haymon. That is ridiculous. Harrison and korobov are not bad boxers. He did arguably win, what the hell are you talking about. The fight was close and could've gone either way. You yourself said as much.

Jmw charlo won and arguably got robbed. How you think that means brook beats him is crazy. As for mw charlo he was fighting a guy on relative short notice and just watched his twin get a terrible decision. That had to factor into his poor performance but isnt an excuse for not living up to the hype.
Don’t do the same stuff you whine about others doing -using a poorer than expected performance to judge a boxer’s whole career and what he can accomplish against other guys.
The charlos failed to impress on the big stage and they deserve criticism. Wilder was getting his ass beat and got a gift draw because he fought like a champ and got a kd in the 12th. Mw charlo won by winning the last 2 rounds. Good fighters do things like that. I guess you got caught up slurping and forgot that.
Instead of focusing on the boxing part of this you are focusing on hype and Haymon. Did you even watch the fight as a fan or just as someone that hates Haymon and desperately wanted to see 2 of his main guys fail?Last edited by The Big Dunn; 12-27-2018, 03:04 PM.Comment

Brook would certainly destroy none of the Charlos. The boxers he had been stopping were nowhere near as big or physically gifted. I think he would have been competitive though.
"Prime Brook" was good but not elite. He fought top 5 welterweights twice, got knocked out by Spence and was holding for dear life the whole first half of the fight against Porter in a very unimpressive performance.Comment

It's not my fault that Haymon fighters and American fighters in general are loud, entitled and think they're hot shyt without proving it in the ring. Nobody likes people like that. This is a very weird post. You seem to be picking against the charlos because they are with Haymon. That is ridiculous. Harrison and korobov are not bad boxers.

I've said a long time ago that Wilder and Charlos are trash, not just now, after their last fights. Their last fights have only proved it. Besides it's not the first fight Charlos struggled vs guys they were suppose to wreck anyway so your point is moot.
Like I said, Brook is a proven world class operator who has fought other world class fighters. It's comical that you and others are convinced Charlos, who fight and sometimes struggle with an OK opposition, would definitely beat him. Comical.
Moving on, I'm pretty sure I seen you say you scored the Korobov fight 7-5 but wouldn't be mad if someone else scored it the other way because it was a close fight. Or something like that. So yeah saying Korobov arguably won is not farfetched or delusional. Just go to the RBR thread and see how people scored this fight.
It's also funny how say I'm focusing on non boxing part in the same thread you've accused other poster of having ulterior motives when he scores a fight

Bull****. You love guys that haven’t proved themselves. Don’t pretend arrogance is why you hate them. It’s their connection to Haymon. They are trying to market themselves and boost their profile. You hate them for that? It's not my fault that Haymon fighters and American fighters in general are loud, entitled and think they're hot shyt without proving it in the ring. Brook is smaller than me charlo, who has also defeated world class comp like Trout for example. If the fights are tough and he wins them that is a positive not a negative.
Well yes. I read that as suggesting korobov won going away and that was wrong of me.
It’s clear you have something against Haymon here. Where is the talk about jmw charlo being robbed? If this were the other way around you’d be screaming about it so how about you let go of the anti Haymon bias and just talk as you usually would.
As for mw charlo, I say the same thing I said about ggg and Loma, winning tougher than expected fights is not a bad thing. That I even have to explain that to you is ridiculous.
As for wilder same thing. He got his butt kicked most of he fight but got 2 crucial kds that could’ve swung the fight. I thought he lost but again if you had him down 2 pts going into the 12th you can’t argue the draw. He gets no credit for that?
As for the other thread, I asked Chrisjs if his score being different was rooted in race as he accused everyone black who scored the canelo, Jacobs and wilder fights against ggg and fury. I think that was a fair question.Comment

I don't dislike them because they're with Haymon, I dislike them for the reasons I've stated. I like Spence and Hurd and they're with Haymon. But they don't act like ******s wherever they go and they actually put their money where their mouths and fight top opponents, not just talk about it. At least Wilder have stepped up a little this year doe, but got a gift draw and is still acting like a moron.Bull****. You love guys that haven’t proved themselves. Trout isn't world class. And definitely not the version Charlo fought.
I never said he wasn't robbed. He was but he was also exposed for being one dimensional and felling in love with his own power.
Loma clearly won his tougher than expected fight. Charlo didn't. Golovkin's tougher than expected fight was vs Jacobs the MW no 2 at the time. Charlo's wasn't. Don't act like these situations are the same.
For the record I did say Korobov was underrated going into this fight in ShoulderRoll's thread, but it still doesn't change the fact that Charlo, if he was on the same level as Loma and GGG, would've won this fight clear and decisive like GGG and Loma do when they fight over matched opponents.
No the KDs weren't crucial as the fight wasn't close and couldn've gone either way. Fury was robbed, plain and simple.
Wilder did get credit from me for not giving up. Right after the fight I made this thread:

Brook is a good boxer, though I want to say great, but the Ingle gym gives me doubts. Though the GGG fight really took a lot out of Brook.Comment
