Yeah Ortiz has earned that 4th spot by beating top opponents such as.....erm....hang on let me think.....erm....Well he gave Wilder a decent fight so.....erm yeah ok I know he got knocked out but. Oh hang on yes he beat the majestic Bryant Jennings about ten years ago right? Yeah he is def 4th best that proves it! Doesn't matter he is 45 he has proved more than that Dillion Shyte innit!

The only appeal here is an upset. I don't see how Hearn can pay Canelo 30 mil and AJ 20 mil for B class outings. At this rate he can't afford a decent challenger. He cant, or wont pay enough for a Fury or Wilder. He's too cheap to bust up the rematch, we'll have to wait until he gets outbid. Again.Comment

Yes Wilder deserves props for stepping up. The guy who fought bum after bum for about 40 fights finally decides to risk it all against a 45 year old diabetes ridden heart pill popping fat ass Cuban. Then losing to a formerley obese rusty mental health coke head. He sure risks it all against the best, I mean turning down hungry fighters in their prime like AJ and Whyte doesnt matter because he fought those other two right?Comment

Hearn isnt gonna risk all those belts to someone he doesn't promote. Period. Wilder isn't on the radar. Never was. Fury isnt either. Hearn got a break when they fought each other n gets another one because of the rematch. Keeps everyone from asking questions n it just makes it all around easier to keep matching AJ against overmatched opposition.Comment

Regarding Whyte over Ortiz. Here are my thoughts. Does Whyte have a better resume? Absolutely. But then, would Whyte give Wilder as hard a fight as Ortiz did? In my opinion no. Then there's the eyeball test. It's clear that Ortiz has a lot more skill and stylistically would cause Joshua more problems. In my view, I would favor Ortiz to beat Joshua, and I think Ortiz would best Whyte fairly easily. Then you also have to factor in that Joshua already beat Whyte. And although he did lose rounds 2 and 3. He won every other round big and battered Dillian up before the R7 knockout.
People say "Oh, but Dillian has improved so much?" But has he? Not really. Dillian just knocked out Chisora in round 11. Fair play, Chisora is a good fighter, but up until then Chisora had probably won 6 of the 10 rounds. So, I'm not really seeing the massive improvement. And yeah, he beat Parker, again a good fighter and a good win, I'm not knocking it. But 30 more seconds and he loses that fight. Also Parker has lost to Joshua, but in the opinion of me and many others lost to Hughie Fury and Andy Ruiz and even the Carlos Takam fight was a 7-5 Parker 6-6 type of fight.
Joshua vs Whyte the rematch would be a good fight, I'd pay for it and watch it, but giving the choice, if not Wilder or Fury, I'd rather he fight Ortiz. Or even Miller personally.Comment
