It doesn't really matter who Joshua fights next. If its not Wilder or Fury, if Joshua knocks someone out, it will just be criticised over and over...'oh he beat the #4 fighter again? So what! He should be fighting Wilder or Fury'...that's all we will hear, fight of the year or not. You can't please everyone.
If I am honest, I don't want to see Joshua fight Whyte. Joshua said that they have both moved up to World level since their 'British' level fight but I can only see this being a Joshua win. Whyte has moved training location but he is still the same fighter. The only recent comparable is Parker...Parker put Whyte down and, if he had another round, may have beaten him. Joshua put Whyte out. Joshua tactically beat Parker quite easily...common sense dictates that Joshua beats Whyte and we have seen that before.
Like most, I want to see Joshua take on Ortiz, Miller, Wilder or Fury. Mostly, the last two which is obvious. Everyone knows why and everyone knows Joshua is in the mix with those two. All this BS about Joshua not being relevant and now below Wilder and Fury is just noise from those too entrenched in their own personal opinion.
