Wilder flat out ducked Whyte. Whyte should have been the WBC mando but Haymon and the WBC worked it to protect Wilder. Why would Whyte fight for a mando shot in 2 years time when he can get one against a better fighter, for more money from another org sooner?Hahahaha! He ducked an old man with a mando on the line! Hahaha! And after Wilder told him all he had to do was beat Ortiz and he'd fight him! Sure, he may have been lying, but what's the risk against the old man who's obviously washed up? Hahahaha!!! Eddie's proud of you! Hahahaha!

OK, this line of thinking I understand and think has a lot of merit. Problem is, Arum has already said they won't take that April 13 date because Pulev needs a challenge before fighting AJ, so they won't do it until the fall.Comment

Pulev is always good for nothing but throwing a wrench in the gears. He probably pulls out with an injury at the last minute too (again)Comment

Kownacki would be cool. My favorite fight, and I"m surprised it's not being talked about more, would be Whyte versus Breazeale. They could fight to see who gets Wilder.Comment
