Relax dude , I saw Mike Grant live quite a few times down in Atlantic City. Was Grant a legendary Heavyweight No.
Did he have some good wins early in his career yes.
I saw him fight Obed Sullivan who was a very tough former marine. I also saw him fight a very game David Izon.
Look is he going to make you forget about Joe Frazier or George foreman anytime soon absolutely not.
But to call him a Hype job that’s just being a total hoarses A**
    And that’s that
Everyone who isnt Ray Robinson is a hype job to the supermen on this site. The kind of boxing fans that dont understand fighters are human and it takes guys of all levels to make the game what it is. They dont get that sometime a prospect is found wanting at the final hurdle because that's life. They think its a Steven Seagal film where you must remain untouched or you're "a bum". You must accept every fight they want too or you're "a coward". So hard are these men tapping out messages on a screen..

Grant reminds me of Wilder but Wilder is better.

He definitely had talent but it just seemed to me his reaction time was not very good, as a result he got hit with shots others would have blocked or avoided. Maybe Steward could have done something with him, he was certainly capable offensively.

          This is a good comparison.

He was okay but nothing special. He'd fit right in the mix in 2019.

Robotic Anthony Joshua makes Michael Grant look like Ali. For a man his size and musculature, he was very smooth. Unfortunately he ran into an ATG Lennox Lewis and got steamrolled.

That happens to every boxer, American or not.

'Oh my God, look at how good he looks against C- and D-level opponents.'

Typical American hype job when it’s plenty of UK hype jobs that fight nothing but local domestic bums.

You have no credibility with that lame ass statement
