It still might be but it just doesn't have the same feeling...
I'm a boxing fan first and foremost so a loss isn't the end of the world by any means. I still wanna see a Charlo-Hurd fight and I'll even buy it on ppv but I think some casuals won't since it's not two undefeated fighters fighting..
I had both Charlos winning last night but you're right, no way did Korobov lose 10-2. That scorecard was ridiculous! I had it 7-5 Charlo in the Korobov fight.
But random question... Do you think Charlo beats Canelo after watching him fight last night??
Even if Jermell would have been awarded the win. His fight with Hurd wouldn’t not have been PPV worthy. It’s a good fight I’d like to see but I wouldn’t have paid to see it.

And no way does Jermall beats Canelo. Canelo is to skilled, to slick and just better in almost every category. Canelo would do quite a number on Jermall.

The commentators were dreadful. They kept making comments on what they hoped Charlo would do and wishing he would do this and that. It was disgusting.

I know the question is for someone else but here is my take.

Even before last night's fight i have always believed Canelo has a bit more to his game for Jarmall.

Any fighter who can go 24 hard rounds with GGG is no joke.
I have always felt Canelo is a special fighter, who continues to improve.

Having said that, the fight last night against Matt who has pedigree and is no joke is exactly the kind of fight that should prepare JMall for Canelo.

I was impressed with the adjustments he made down the stretch.

Anyone who tries to detract from JMalls performance last night does not know who Korobov is.

        Good solid win.

IDK if the fight would be ppv but I'm just saying cause to be honest I don't think Spence-Garcia is ppv worthy but it's gonna be on ppv.
If Spence and Garcia were both in the same weight division then it be different. But Garcia is moving up two weight divisions and not many people are giving him a chance.
I give him a small chance but not much. So if that's a ppv fight then why not Hurd-Charlo??
I hope you're right though cause I don't wanna have to pay for it either but you just never know...
And absolutely right! Even before last night's fight I felt Canelo would beat Charlo but after watching Charlo-Korobov I'm just not impressed with anything Charlo does besides his KO power and Canelo has a granite chin and great defense so it'll be hard for Charlo to catch Canelo cleanly...
          I've got Canelo beating Charlo!

Great assessment! Korobov is no cab driver and has solid skills. Perhaps Charlo would have done better if he had more time to prepare for Korobov and watched film of him..
But I still think that on Charlo's best night he still loses to Canelo.
But I won't say he doesn't have a chance cause Charlo does have skills and power and he's proven that his power can bail him out and get him a victory.
Would love to see them fight and I hope it happens within the next year or two. They are both still young so I don't see neither of them start to slow down in the next couple of years,...

Charlo will get another opportunity to win his belt back. But I was so surprised to hear them give the fight to Harrison that I immediately started laughing and was like wow they called out the wrong name! And I kept waiting for them to correct it and they never did. So then I was like wow they really gave Harrison the belt and laughed some more in disbelief hahaha Don't get me wrong Harrison landed some clean shots here and there but he didn't win, Harrison got stung a few times and he lost the last two rounds clear as day. They need to have a immediate rematch or I'll be alright with Harrison vs Hurd and Charlo fighting a tune up guy or possibly J-Rock and if he wins he gets the winner of Harrison/Hurd.

I thought Jermall did a good job of overcoming his emotions enough to win the fight against Korobov even though it wasn't his best performance. I know that had to be difficult to see his brother lose his belt and having to get in the ring a few minutes later and fight yourself.

But the longer you compete in the same sport, you start to see who had the real talent in the family and the one who doesn’t as it is with the Charlos. I could always see that the Charlo in the lower weight division was less talented than the one who keeps calling out Canelo.

And in boxing history, we saw that separation of talent with brothers who fought in the same time period like the Klitschkos brothers, the Smith brothers, the McDonnell brothers, the Alvarez brothers, the Cotto brothers, the Spinks brothers, the Norris brothers and so many others.
                  The Dirrell’s brothers.

This imaginary rule of having to do something extra just because the guy across from you came in with a belt on his waist is ridiculous.
I didn't mean he needed to something out of the ordinary to beat Charlo. He doesn't need to do a ballet spin while shooting left hooks or anything. In context to what I said about this specific fight, I meant he did not come to be the aggressor and Charlo was. Therefore, he did NOT do enough to take away the aggressive champions belt. It was not meant to be a general rule. I agree with you. That would be ******. I meant in THIS fight, Harrison did not come to be aggressive and win the fight, but hope Charlo left enough openings he would lose the fight. It was Harrison and his teams entire strategy, and I do not think he did enough to win more of those rounds.
