I suppose when WBC WBA IBF gets back from "ringside" he'll tell us that 99% of ringside experts told him Charlo won.

But the longer you compete in the same sport, you start to see who had the real talent in the family and the one who doesn’t as it is with the Charlos. I could always see that the Charlo in the lower weight division was less talented than the one who keeps calling out Canelo.

And in boxing history, we saw that separation of talent with brothers who fought in the same time period like the Klitschkos brothers, the Smith brothers, the McDonnell brothers, the Alvarez brothers, the Cotto brothers, the Spinks brothers, the Norris brothers and so many others.
I disagree. I think the 154 Charlo is the better fighter overall. He just loads up his punches too much. He has better hand speed and movement and his power is good also. They're both good fighters but IMO the smaller one would win if they hypothetically ever fought each other.

Harrison got touched waaay more with significant stuff than he landed. I've never seen someone do that little of work and be in quasi-retreat mode the entire fight and win. Never. The closest I've seen was when Cory Spinks fought Jermain Taylor at middleweight and backpedaled the entire fight behind a pity pat jab and nothing else. Somehow, he won a judges scorecard doing that bull**** (thank God he lost big on the other two).

Its essentially the same thing I saw from Harrison. The first time I had sound on was when the decision was announced and I was furious. This is the kind of stuff that pushes people away from boxing, both tenured and casual fans alike.
Fam, he was legit unwilling to press the fight, even when he was having success (looked scared as you said). I have never seen a champ lose in that fashion either. Harrison threw 350 punches in a 12 round fight and won a unanimous decision lol

We watched a fix card tonight.

Jermall was wronged, and Jermall got a gift because Korobov was giving him good work. That fight felt drawish to me.

The hand speed, power, and movement didn’t help him this weekend, he lost to a guy in Tony Harrison that was stopped twice already coming into this fight, by Hurd and another fighter named Willie Nelson, not the singer. That tells you all you need to know about the lighter Charlo.

Harrison was fighting to survive and make it to the final bell. His jab was working but he had no interest in taking that fight to Charlo and nearly got stopped a few times.

What we saw tonight was corruption. There's a lot of people happy to see Jermell lose so they'll justify anything, but that decision seemed plain wrong.
You know what I was telling my girl the same thing as her and me were watching the fight. I told her Harrison was Fighting just to survive the fight, not win it and she said Harrison wasn't doing much.
I scored it 9-3 Charlo. Maybe even 8-4. Fight wasn't even close I thought,...
It's fuccing bullshet! In not a Charlo fan but he got robbed!
IDK if I would call it corruption though,... I mean who would be behind it???
The Charlo's are being pushed hard by PBC so who would set it up for Charlo to lose??
                Maybe just incompetent judges,...??

I get people saying "robbery", but I do not get "fixed". The Charlo brothers losing is bad for the PBC, bad for Showtime and Fox, bad for huge money match-ups. I understand being upset, but bad judging is not corrupt. It is just bad. I STILL believe strongly all three judges should have to justify their cards to the press. I want to know why these three judges gave it to Harrison, and the boxing press should be able to call them on their scoring.

And this was fairly bad. Not horrid, not the worst I have ever seen, but bad. Now Charlo needs to spend some time looking in the mirror. He was not nearly as aggressive as he has been in the past, and he coasted plenty. He gave Harrison plenty of chances to score in those rounds. Harrison does not need to be vilified. He was active, and was obviously sticking to a plan from the get go of score some, keep Charlo from scoring at all. Harrison was fine. But Charlo seemed to still be setting up what happened with Harrison reacting to him, and I thought when Charlo scored he was hitting cleaner.

If all three were 115-113 for Charlo, I would have been fine with that. If those exact scores were for Charlo instead of Harrison, I could defend it. Harrison did not box well enough to take a championship belt from the title holder. A rematch is a good thing.

I watch all boxing with commentators off these days. Just makes boxing better.

The Charlos feel like the new Chris Euabnk Jrs ... calling out GG etc, fun personality s, gym bodies ... lacking in actual boxing skills and with egos the size of planets that won't believe they have been beat.

To be fair Wubank Jr never skipped a drugs test though.
