    Nathan Gorman made a routine defence of his fringe title. The 22-year-old was in action at Manchester Arena on Saturday night. Gorman, a relation of former unified world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, outpointed ex-WBO heavyweight title challenger Razvan Cojanu to keep hold of his WBC International Silver heavyweight bauble.

                If someone was seeing Gorman's body without anything about him, you would think he was a midwest 12-6 club fighter.

                  A decent win for Gorman & got some much needed rounds in against a decent journeymen opponent. Cojanu is big & can take a decent punch. Gorman went 12 rounds for the first time so that should help him in his development. Enguema would be another good durable journeyman for Gorman to fight. Leapai would have been a good opponent at this stage but Cojanu was a good replacement. Gorman needs to stay busy & get a few more journeymen level opponents under his belt before he moves up to the next level.
