Wouldn't be that much different from what happened in 2015 imo. Pacquiao just never had the attributes to trouble a slick boxer and a sharp counterpuncher who happens to be naturally bigger than him. Manny couldn't really touch Shane Mosley in 2011 when Mosley decided to get on that bike and made Manny miss wildly. That's not remotley Shane's style but he still managed to stay out of harms way for 11 whole rounds.

Most people that only care about Mayweather Pacquiao don't know boxing at all.
Mayweather isn't at his prime at 2009. He was way past his prime then. Floyd turned pro in the late 90's. His prime was 130-135. Prime means physical peak. Coincidentally, one could argue Pacquiaos prime is at a higher weight than Floyds actual prime and I couldn't disagree. Nobody ever argues about a theoretical 130-135 fight between the two (both very possible) because everybody knows that Floyd was the superior fighter at that weight. You basically give Floyd the same defense/better with much more fresh feet and throw in knock out power. Pacquiao is an amazing boxer, Floyd is just better. It is what it is. Drew Brees is an amazing quarterback, doesn't mean Tom Brady isn't better. It is what it is.
