Were there any physical freaks like Tyson, AJ, and Wilder back in Ali's era?

Two of them took him the distance and another 6ft 4in boxer knocked him out. Don't worry about Golota or Ribalta.
I don't think he'd stand a chance against the best 6ft 5in plus boxers of this era.Comment

As long as you win its ok to go the distance. Wilder has showed the weight isnt related to being able to knock a man out. The best guys now have never had to deal with anything like the speed and head movement of a Tyson. The Joshua who struggled early with Povetkin, the Fury who struggled so badly with a small fast non puncher in Cunningham, and the Wilder who had fits hitting Fury, was down against Sconiers, and had a doctor looking in on him against an old Ortiz would have real trouble with Tyson. He never had a vulnerability to a one punch knockout, and these guys arent untouchable at all. Short guys are hell to fight, look at Lewis Billups, Haye Fragomeli, they both commented on being unable to hit short men with the same kind of power. None of these guys has a Douglas type jab. I think Tyson stands more than a chance.Comment
