As stated earlier he beat Ernie terrell who was 6ft 6". Not quite sure what the point of these posts are?

Ali passes the eye test to beat these guys
Ali passes the paper test to beat these guys (resume wise)

It's Illogical to say that because he's never faced someone who was 6ft 8 he wouldn't beat them. He also never faced anyone who was 5ft 4. I'm guessing he'd also get beat of a person of that size too?

Comparing the best of average heavyweights to quite possibly the best heavyweight (or at least one of) of all time is quite ridiculous and until these average heavyweights do something to merit otherwise. Let's keep these discussions down.

And let's not get onto the topic of could he take the punches of a 240 pound heavyweight. He fought the hardest punchers in history and won. These guys are not "those" types of punchers.

Don't get my wrong, wilder hits HARD. But is unfortunately limited with awful boxing skills. Not to mention it seems he only hits that hard with his right hand. I'm confident that anyone near the skill level of Ali would relatively easily take away that right hand enough to not get hit too much with it.

Prime Ali is the perfect style to beat them easy, watch how Jones beats Ruiz, watch the slick greats like Mayweather Whitaker Robinson Leonard etc box circles around much bigger slower opponents.

Ali was a slick great HW that could dance and pot shot for 15 rounds and they couldnt touch him.

Then for icing on top of the great movement and speed lays a granite chin .

The super Heavies havent had a fighter near the pure ability that Ali had in spades .

The HWs today are not near the class they just big guys, and slick will always beat size that is slow.
