Whyte can do whatever he wants. His fans just shouldn't whine and cry about him not being a mandatory when he keeps refusing to fight a final eliminator to become one.

I have no problem with Whyte getting a title shot, just tired of his fans crying about him not getting one yet when he's never pursued a final eliminator with any of the orgs.

Dillian Whyte is the real WBC mandatory his resume in the last 5 fights are better than Breazeale

Breazeale agreed to fight a final eliminator.

Whyte continues to refuse to fight a final eliminator.

You don't become mandatory cherry picking random opponents. You become mandatory winning a final eliminator.

Which begs the question, did his promoter know he had enough stroke with the WBO to get Povetkin removed as mandatory and replaced by Whyte without Whyte having to fight a final eliminator? Maybe so.

But too soon to know if the plan will actually work. Arum is demanding a final eliminator between Whyte and Jennings. The WBO has yet to rule. Maybe Hearn's plan will backfire, maybe it won't. We'll see. But no matter how you slice it, you can't claim a guy deserves a title shot when he's consistently refusing to earn one.

Fury is being tested. You get kicked out of the ratings if you don't enroll, but he did end up enrolling in time.

Fury is #3 in Boxrec, so I don't really see how you can complain about him being #3 in one of the sanctioning bodies.
I thought Povetkin had refused his WBO obligations in favour of his WBA mandatory?.

Fury was given a ranking before he had the testing. The fight had also been agreed and announced before he was enrolled...how is that so?.

I have no issue with Fury being ranked three with boxrec, my issue is with Fury jumping the queue with the WBC when someone like Whyte has payed whatever fees he's had to for a silver title that means the grand total of squat.

Whyte was promised a final eliminator against Lucas Browne, then sualiman turned back to stab him at the back.

You're lying. Blatantly lying. Browne was #13 in the WBC ratings when Whyte fought him. Ortiz was #3 and willing to fight Whyte. There was no way to skip over #3 Ortiz, let alone #4 through #12 to get all the way down to Browne at #13.

No, like Fury before him, Povetkin was a DOUBLE mandatory (WBA & WBO). This is done to help maintain a unified champion. Hearn, being clever, begged the WBO to revoke Povetkin's mandatory status, so the WBO could keep their place in the rotation line ahead of the IBF, so Whyte could fight AJ before Pulev. I'm not knocking Hearn. Very very smart. He's great at his job. But it does show how the sanctioning bodies will often do whatever it takes to cater to a big star.

Because you're not obligated to enroll until after you're in the ratings. Being in the ratings is what causes you to need to enroll.

Fury didn't jump Whyte in the ratings. Not my fault UK fans allow Hearn to try to fool them into thinking the silver belt makes someone the mandatory. Hearn just tried that same **** with Jesse Vargas. Lying to the public that winning the silver title would make him mandatory.
