Then you got the Showtime and ESPN+ apps which compliment normal tv, and people will gravitate more towards them.

DAZN will grow. The question is will it grow at a fast enough pace to alleviate the startup costs? They have a rocky road ahead.
Bingo!!!! So many people getting defensive about this and not thinking rationally but this is it right now. DAZN is brand new in the states and people don't know what it is yet. It is going to take time before their name gets out and people start to understand just how it works. Also, DAZN is so limited to the sports they are showing opposed to something like ESPN+.

WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP SAYING WWE PPV INSIDER? Do you not understand the concept of WWE Network? And again, if you don't want to believe him that is perfectly fine. Just stop acting like you know what he actually does and what WWE Network actually is.

And if you want to go boxing insider, Coppinger last time tweeted that only 15k watched the Joshua/Povetkin fight. Are you looking for someone like that to put their name on this?
Now you lying again Oscar didn't say that he said they were almost sold out and that the fight would sell out by fight night which the fight did. Keith Idec got exposed for either creating a lie or being lied to by someone else you choose which is worse. But unless it's a creditable boxing insider and he puts his name on some real numbers it's nothing but bs. You bought the BS about the fight not selling well now you buying even worse a rumor by a non boxing guy without even pretending to throw out figures. and pretending there isn't a agenda at play here lol

Being honest big fights should still be on tv thru ppv imo

With streaming apps like dazn espn+

If a big fight isn’t coming up they’re most likely not to subscribe and they’ll lose money etc in he long run

Um, this tweet is from December 13 in the morning. So if there were only 400-500 tickets remaining to be sold as DLH said, how the hell did they not sell out before the day of the fight. Are you kidding me? You think if there are only 500 tickets left on the 13th, it would take until the the day of the fight to sell out. So they had much of Thursday and the entire Friday to sell 500 tickets but they couldn't do that until the day of the fight. How about you use your head here. If you want to say Idec was wrong on his number of 4-5k, that's fine, but there damn sure was a lot more than 500 tickets remaining. Because if there only 400-500 tickets left, they would have been gone on that day or at the very latest by the weight in the next day. Tickets often times get moving the last few days before the fight, that is nothing new. That is par for the course for these cards stateside, especially those that are high priced. They tend to drop a few days before the fight and that is what probably happened here.

This guy doesn't even understand the agenda he would have LOL. I don't think he gets that Dana White and Vince McMahon aren't exactly fond of Meltzer since he spills the beans on stuff they don't want released. Whether DAZN does well or not has no affect on him.

They should take a page out of the WWE. They have their PPVs on their WWE Network for the monthly $9.99 subscription but they also allow you to buy the PPV from your cable/satellite distributor. I think this would definitely work better for those over the age of 50 that just don't know how to use DAZN yet. I mean let's be real, there are those in their 20s that are just learning how to watch DAZN on their television.
