Over 1 million paid 75 bucks to watch canelo fight over 5 million downloaded this app because of canelo. You want to tell me well most might not subscribe after the trial month ok. But 5 million didn't download something that clearly was advertised as first month free then said i did all this to watch canelo but I'm not putting in my credit card because I'm afraid I might get a 9.99 fee when everyone has been used to paying 75 bucks to watch canelo every fight for years now? Stop it whatever amount you think did that is low. If you went out your way to download DAZN you already aware it's subscription where first month is free.

Stop trying to pretend a dude nobody in the boxing community has ever heard of knows how many views DAZN got on Saturday. A PPV insider for WWE events knows what a non ppv subscription based streaming boxing event did and offers no numbers or sources to back it up? RIIIIGHT LMAO

No question. There is a reason Dana and Vince hate him. Dana especially gets heated at Meltzer when he releases the accurate PPV numbers.

Hilarious sitting back hearing folks say he has an agenda. So does he have an agenda against the UFC and WWE as well? Who doesn't he have an agenda against?

Buddy, WWE network is NOT PPV. In fact it is set up similar to DAZN. He was calling their numbers before anyone. He knew how many subscribers they had and what they were gunning for.

A million people buying a Canelo vs GGG PPV doesn't mean those same people will subscribe to DAZN. One, GGG isn't doing a million buys every time out. Two, those that purchase the PPVs are likely above the age of 45-50 and simply don't understand how DAZN works.

Since this is clearly upsetting you, do you have any stake in DAZN or something? A big Hearn stan? What is it? You're reacting a bit funny here. I mean you could say you don't believe Meltzer here which is fine, but now attacking him and saying he has some sort of agenda when you don't even know what he does is hilarious.

When a actual boxing insider puts his name on the line and quotes figures I'll sit up and take notice when a WWE guy who reports on PPVs talks boxing on a non ppv platform and doesn't provide numbers or sources it don't mean shyt. There are many out there that feel threatened by Canelo's DAZN deal. There was a idiot who put out a tweet that canelo a day before the fight had 5K unsold tickets then had a argument with fans who exposed him by pointing out Ticketmaster figures debunking that then the idiot doubled down and said the fight wouldn't be packed let alone sell out and blamed the ticket prices and opponent. A day later of course he was proven wrong as the fight did sell out and had a packed rabbid crowd. The idiot who tweeted that writes for boxingscene. Either he lied or the person who told him that info lied to him. Point is idiots post a lot of bs without proof or facts on Twitter and claim to be insiders. It's impossible to know how many views this fight got no matter how many PPVs insiders this WWE clown has. This fight wasn't on PPV and he's not a boxing insider anyway.

Keith Idec you mean? And how was he wrong? He never said it wouldn't be a sellout, just that it wasn't until the day of the fight…. Which Eric Gomez confirmed.

Why would a boxing insider know more than Meltzer here? This is what he does. And DAZN isn't just boxing, they have Bellator as well. He actually on his podcast broke down the Bellator deal with DAZN a day or two after it was announced.

Yes him he tweeted they we're 5k unsold tickets and gomez didnt comfirm that don't lie. He said the fight was almost sold out and only a few hundred tickets left. Keith got roasted by fans bringing up Ticketmaster screen shots of available tickets proving there was at best 400-500 tickets left and he was ultimately proven wrong that the ticket prices and opponent was not a issue as the fight sold out. To date there is nobody who co-signed his source that told him that 5k tickets were unsold but idiots like you take that bs serious. This is definition of fake news. Now a non boxing WWE ppv insider claims DAZN got low views for the Canelo fight without a shred of proof and contradicts the numbers we do know which is DAZN got massive downloads from canelo reportedly well over 5 million. Like I said when a real boxing insider puts their name on some numbers I will care but this clown has no clue what a private app views got.

It would not surprise me if true. DAZN is so new that it will seem like too far off the beaten path for many.

Then you got the Showtime and ESPN+ apps which compliment normal tv, and people will gravitate more towards them.

DAZN will grow. The question is will it grow at a fast enough pace to alleviate the startup costs? They have a rocky road ahead.

No, Gomez DID confirm the fight sold out the day of the fight. I didn't say he confirmed there were 4-5k tickets left unsold like Idec said. If there were only 400-500 tickets left unsold as DLH stated at the presser, then they wouldn't have lasted until the day of the fight. Highly likely they would be gone by Friday night.

WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP SAYING WWE PPV INSIDER? Do you not understand the concept of WWE Network? And again, if you don't want to believe him that is perfectly fine. Just stop acting like you know what he actually does and what WWE Network actually is.

And if you want to go boxing insider, Coppinger last time tweeted that only 15k watched the Joshua/Povetkin fight. Are you looking for someone like that to put their name on this?
