That's the image that AJ is trying to uphold. He perceives himself as a role model and a upstanding global citizen. Jawing, trash talking and getting down and dirty is just not his thing. His style are gentlemen handshakes and agreements.
oh lord just stop with that gentlemen's sport bs that aj is trying to 'uphold' gtfo aj just can't handle being confronted in front of live people or being confronted in front of any cameras. it's pretty obvious since you NEVER see any interviews of AJ answering questions on his OWN (that means no eddie within 500 miles).

Moreover, AJ would have been on very hostile territory. You already had at least two of the top three heavyweights in the world fighting each other and both would have tried to provoke a confrontation with him; Where it could have possibly turned physical and a melee would have ensued.

Somebody could have gotten hurt. So I think he made a wise decision to not attend the fight the Wilder/Fury fight.
LOL even AJs fans are softies!

Stay in the UK boy. You'll get picked on here in the States.

[QUOTE=eco1;19363547]Wilder talks too much to the media. Just go ahead and take the damn fight up or just STFU...… He's not going to shut up because he wants the potential future fight to be constantly before the public. Same as Joshua will continue to bring up that he wants Wilder. You have to create and sustain the market for when the fight happens and hopefully increase the dollars. In the end it is all about the money.

"Joshua needs his promoter, Eddie Hearn, every step of the way or else he don’t know what to say because they’re contradicting each other all the time. But they’re no longer being talked about, and people are putting the backburner. We don’t have time for their games anymore, so they’re trying to do damage control, now, but no one is buying it anymore.”
Yep and everybody see it. Joshua cant speak without Hearn. When he does speak he's corrected by Hearn.

Actually Wilder didn't go because his baby momma was having their baby and wanted him to stay for the birth.

I've noticed that when AJ is allowed to speak he contradicts everything Hearn says which I'm sure bugs Hearns and tells him to shut up. I remember when AJ said he would sign on the dotted line if offered 50 million and Hearn came out and said AJ doesn't sign any of his contracts, that Hearn is the one who signs them. Then AJ went quite for awhile. Sure Hearn had a talk with him after his comments this past Saturday.

AJ don't need you to sell out stadium. You are highly irrelevant.
