I believe that Fury and Wilder's rematch is planned for mid April, maybe even April 13th. That will certainly take the wind out of Eddie Hearn's sails.

Why would anyone believe AJ wants this fight next.. when he wouldn't even allow Wilder in the ring after his last fight.. nor did he go to Wilder vs Fury.. or watch it live. But this is the fight he wants us to believe he wants??? Smh.. but he's going to Whyte vs Chisora??? This dude is a joke.

Hey man...take it easy on him. He had meetings to attend. Which sponsor and what about is anybody's guess. Must have been super important for him to miss an opportunity to jumpstart the promotion for his big fight next April.

If Wilder has any brains, he will take the AJ fight next. AJ offers him him the chance to make life changing amounts of money. If he wins, he will make even more for a rematch. If he loses, he walks away with a fat bank account regardless and can still make a fight with Fury. But if he chooses to fight Fury again next, and he loses. He might never again get the AJ money. Fury would take his spot. Wilder needs to be smart here....

If Wilder fights AJ next he will lose my respect and the respect of many others including Tyson Fury. Both Fury and Wilder OWE each other the next fight either of them has. I believe both Wilder and Fury are stand up guys and will honor the commitment they made to each other for the rematch. AJ can wait because it's not all about him.

Come on Eddie just keep it real and say it's the Whyte vs AJ match next. We know for sure it's not USyk next his team has said that they need tune up fights before fighting Joshua. We know for d@m sure Miller isn't getting the fight next either. And besides the overwhelming majority believe that the Wilder Fury rematch is happening next and the WBC supports it. So just ease up on the shenanigans the public will still watch Whyte and AJ fight, it's just not the first choice.

Wilder is definitely going to fight fury next. Hopefully AJ fights miller. I know Whyte is deserving of a rematch but that fight really interest fans in the UK. A miller fight will generate some excitement here in the USA as well as the UK.

That it won't happen next is a given, and always has been. The Joshua/Whyte rematch was always going to be a huge money maker and was penciled in for April so long as Whyte wins against Chisora. I think most boxing fans were okay with it, and we all had accepted it. The fact that Wilder/Fury 2 (or is it Fury/Wilder now?) is going to be huge and happen in the first half of 2019 just makes it easier for Joshua and his team to make the fight.

That it may not happen at all in 2019? I hope you are wrong on that one. Barring Fury winning and us getting that fight, Wilder against Joshua for all the marbles is ready and will not get any bigger since Joshua's last three fights and Wilder getting Ortiz, and then back to back against Fury. And for Wilder/Joshua to happen, that means he beats Fury. There is no way either fighter can claim there is anyone out there left before each other. If it does not happen in late 2019, I will start calling someone a duck, and I very rarely do.

I feel that the problem is not whether that fight can/will get any bigger..... it probably could..... I am not convinced that the anticipation for that fight has truly peaked as yet..... truth be told, the anticipation for that fight only started recently..... in the last 12 months or so

they are making serious BANK !!

the UK is all about the gate, not PPV..... and Joshua packs out Wembley..... their train is rolling along nicely

put it this way..... from THEIR perspective, it can only go downhill from here..... they are all about maintaining/milking their asset..... which is perfectly understandable

we can see from their earlier dealings with Wilder that they have not been serious about making that fight..... the ONLY question is, are they serious now?

if I was them, I would not be interested in Wilder..... or even Fury, at this point..... because.....

1) they are making BANK !!
2) they will keep making bank, so long as there are no problems
3) actions speak louder than words, and they have never tabled a serious offer for Wilder..... Hearn has never said/done anything to indicate that he is serious about making that fight..... because a serious offer for Wilder would start at 32.5% (minimum)..... and that has not happened
4) not only has the anticipation for that fight likely not peaked as yet..... the questions over Joshua avoiding Wilder have had no noticeable negative effect at this point..... the train can roll along nicely for 1, 2, maybe even 3 more fights

I would like to be as positive as you..... but like I say, actions speak louder than words..... and we have not seen any action from Fast Eddie at this point, just words

So true. Neither Wilder or Fury need anything to do with them. I won't spend a penny watching boring AJ,
But I will buy the next Wilder-fury fight. This has the look of a great trilogy to it. Edwina now has a look of desperation about her. The winner of the trilogy will definitely be the A side after.

Last time Hearn was asked about the AJ/Wilder situation he said that an offer has been made to Wilder, and his team are considering it. He also said that he and Finkel had made a bargain with each other to say nothing to the media about the offer, or what was said in the negotiations.

Wilder will very likely be fighting Fury again next, but it's not a done deal. Fury and Warren are saying they want the rematch in the UK, Wilder is saying it's going to be in Vegas or NY.
