Who the F did Canelo fight?? Mayweather beat him. Cotto did surprisingly well against a much younger and bigger Canelo. Chavez was a walking dead he was so weight drained. Canelo dwarfed Khan who has a China chin. Now he's going after Fielding. He fought Golovkin when G is at the end of his career and lost both times.

Canelo's wins over trout, Lara , cotto and now ggg himself are better than any win ggg has. Ggg lost that is a fact

I haven't got a HUGE problem with a fight but there are a couple better fighters/title holders he could have fought at 168lb.

This fight just doesnt excite me and for the amount of money he gets paid and the fact it will be PPV in the US means the quality of opponents for him and others like him needs to be higher.

He took the fight against an ancient tiny cotto for the WBC MW championship at 155lbs because he didnt have the balls to fight at 160. Cotto wanted nothing to do with GGG so he paid him off. He then, despite not wanting to fight at 160 fought another ancient fighter in Chavez who had to fight at a catch weight of 164 and looked like he died.

You guys all lie and say that he wasnt a full blown MW but that's a lie. It was and still is. Canelo even now is saying that 160 is his right division and that 168 is his max.

If a guy can make 168 now he could have made 160 before and chose not to. He wants to fight 160-168 not because hes great, but so he can cherry pick his opponents.

He doesnt want anything to do with the current crop of MWs at 160 and wants to claim "a third " world title just to play it safe.

I bet Canelo doesnt face any MW champions next year. Hell face lemieux and then survey the field. If the field is too tough hell drop the straps he did like he did the first time against GGG.

Ah I forgot that part but my point still stands. He is still getting paid too much for fighting the likes of fielding. It's how HBO died a slow death, its why PBC has become such a joke and why top fights are so difficult to make.
