Steve Cunningham 39-0 Real record. The GOAT.

Steve Cunningham, US Navy turned boxer. He's had more injustices in his career than anybody else ever. His true record and resume in my opinion make him the GOAT. Here is a run down of his major listed wins, and the real results of the fights he lost.

    Major wins.
Guillermo Jones - Points - Outstanding win against a man mountain. Jones is a beast that Cunningham outskilled.
Kelvin Davis - Fought in three world title eliminators.
Krzysztof Wlodarczyk - Rematch. World class - long time WBC World Champion.
Marco Huck - Future Hall of famer - German Legend.
Wayne Braithwaite - Former WBC World Champion
Troy Ross - Two time IBF World title challenger
Enad Lucina - Former WBC mediterranean Champion
Jason Gavern - Beat Future Hall of Famer James Toney, drew with Jonathan Banks, took Anthony Joshua 3 rounds, beat Harold Sconiers and lost controversial decisions to Gerald Washington and Oleg Maskaev
Amir Mansour - At the time a world class heavyweight.
Natu Visinia - At the time 10-0

As you can see, this is already a great list of wins. Here are the 10 fights he "didn't" win, but did actually win. Officially D1 L9. Reality W10. The breakdown:

    1. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (1st fight) Official result - Krzysztof Wlodarczyk by SD. Real score - 116-112 Cunningham.

    2. Tomasz Adamek (1st fight) Official result - Tomasz Adamek by SD. Real score - 114-112 Steve Cunningham.

    3. Yoan Pablo Hernandez (1st fight) Official result - TD/SD Yoan Pablo Hernandez. Real score - 57-56 Steve Cunningham.

    4. Yoan Pablo Hernandez (rematch) Official result - UD Yoan Pablo Hernandez. Real score 115-113 Steve Cunningham.

    5. Tomasz Adamek (rematch) Official result - Tomasz Adamek SD. Real score 120-108 Steve Cunningham.

    6. Tyson Fury. Official result Tyson Fury KO R7. Real result Steve Cunningham by DQ R7.

    7. Vyacheslav Glazkov. Official result - Vyacheslav Glazkov UD. Real result 116-112 Steve Cunningham.

    8. Antonio Tarver. Official result - Draw. Real result 117-11 Steve Cunningham.

    9. Krzysztof Glowacki. Official result - Krzysztof Glowacki UD. Real result 113-111 Steve Cunningham.

    10. Andrew Tabiti. Official result - Andrew Tabiti UD. Real result 96-94 Steve Cunningham.

So if you add all of these real wins onto Steve Cunningham's official wins, then you have him as the GOAT in my view.

i thought USS beat glazkov and got jobbed, you could kinda argue the DQ agaisnt fury for holding and hitting/elbows.

obviously a troll thread but he has definately been jobbed more than a few times...

USS is a very underrated fighter. He was one of the top CWs of the 2000's. One hell of a heart that guy has.

When I was watching Fury Vs Cunningham live, I thought at the time that it should have been a DQ win for Cunningham.

                Fury illegally used his forearm.

Normally you would deduct a point, but he knocked down Cunningham illegally and it would have likely been unfair to ask Steve to continue after that.

                Hence, DQ.

It's in the books as a KO, tho- and that is what it officially is, nevermind what the OP thinks.

Cunningham is one of my all-time favorites great skills and toughness. Alot of great wins for sure, and was outboxing and even dropped Fury in their match! Definitely should have won the second Wlodarczyk fight, the second Adamek fight, Tarver, and Glazkov.

I thought Wlod and Adamek edged him the first times he faced them, and he lost a close one to Hernandez the second time he fought him as well. Glowacki beat him up and won decidedly, and the tabiti fight was an uneventful but clear win for Tabiti imo
