Let's put it in to perspective. Mayweather promotes Girl Code more than he promotes Jack. He only talks about him AFTER a fight is signed. You see Hearn (who I'm not a fan of), he talks about his fighters as if they are the best of this generation. Khan Brook isn't even close to happening, but he talks about it. Why, to promote the dang fight.

What influence is Mayweather wielding? It's all conjecture. No one thanks Mayweather for putting anything together, facilitating negotiations, or anything. Now I'm not saying he does nothing, but the stuff we give him credit for should at least be evidenced instead of assumed.
If you don’t think Badous earned more and gotten bigger fights since he went with Mayweather you’re crazy

Why should he be more popular boxing
Is a niche sport , He’s not entertaining outside of the ring , he’s from Sweden and doesn’t seem like the type to court attention when he’s not
Fighting ,not exactly the variables that will attract a large legion of fans. I think with Badou he’s respected as a solid fighter and the last
Couple years you can count on him being in fights that boxing fans think are good fights

He’s respected among Boxing fans and I think that’s all you can ask for . There’s so many fighters that are upper tier that aren’t popular his two biggest opportunities against Degeale / Adonis he got a draw ( whether you agree with it or not ) so he isn’t getting the needed Ws to build a fan base with boxing fans who tend to d.ick ride for fighters only if they win

Hearn rarely Talks about his Fighters unless
There’s a fight coming up , he mostly talks about himself

What influence is Mayweather wielding besides getting him title shots , putting him on PPVs and giving a guy that was written off a solid career probably making millions of dollars in the process . I guess if you ignore that then Mayweather isn’t doing much

What are you honestly expecting him to do with a fighter with the personality of Jack( not knocking it , he seems level headed and cool
As f.uck just a guy that will attract a large fanbase ) , Make him a star l. I think your expectations are a little too high for Jack . Tank has star potential but he’s more concerned with being AB 2.0 then being a great fighter and becoming a star based on what he does in the ring and not a D class hood celebrity known for being arrested hanging out With rappers and getting drunk at Clubs

Mayweather's inflated ego is what got him to where he is in life. It's not like Wilder doesn't have a huge ego himself.

Wilder wouldn't be saying this if he didn't have him down 5 rounds when he was asked. I didn't agree with Mayweather but that was his assessment.

I don't know enough about boxing promotion to make a comment about the way Mayweather handles his fighters. I will say I don't see him putting his fighters in bum of the week televised fights where you already know the outcome.

Can't disagree with Wilder. With this platform, Floyd could make guys like Tank stars anytime he wants. Instead these guys languish in obscurity. I have no idea why anyone would sign with TMT.

I agree with him talking more about himself then the fighter but you have to look at it like this... TMT star is Tank.. Tank been in and out trouble seen with AB drunk which is why I think FMJ doesn't push him more, why set your fighter up for fights if he's not focused. Now... on to Wilder, He cant be mad with people's opinions on the fight anyone who knows boxing knew he was going to get out boxed by Fury idc how much power he has he still has to set up for the big punch that he was depending on all night... Im not buying none of the bs on those sport shows. & keep in mind Fury had 2 1/2 years off...

I don't think Mayweather is that terrible of a promoter. There isn't a promoter in the world that could make Ishe Smith or Andrew Tabiti into huge stars. And it isn't Floyd's fault that Tank is a overweight hoodlum or that Badou Jack keeps getting draws in big fights.

Floyd has always put his fighters to be in a position to better their career. It's either sink or swim with him. He's gotten all his guys meaningful fights, title fights. It's up to them to prove to people they're that good. Floyd can't do the fighting for them. Floyd got Tank 2 titles fights, yet he was complaining about them. It's not Floyds fault that Bey didn't want to fight for an announced purse. The problem is that Floyd's stable of young fighters see his lifestyle and want to be rolling like him without putting in the work. You have some fighters get butthurt when he puts up sparring footage instead of getting motivated to do better. The only fighter mature enough in his stable is Jack, he's gotten a lot of support because of his work ethic. Floyd's problem with a lot of these fighters now is that they think they're entitled to being an all time great without putting in the work that he and other past fighters have. You have guys considering themselves elite and acting like superstars after beating 1 top fighter. Wilder is upset because Floyd doesn't show him love and support him, it's not Floyd's job to baby all these fighters that cry for attention.

We all know why Wilder going after Floyd. Not like Floyd isn't saying what most fans and pros are, Fury won. Attacking Floyd over that shows this clown knows what a gift he received. Shut up Wilder and give the real champ his rematch.

Why would Floyd mention him in his social media? Pretty sure Floyds mentions them when there's a fight coming up. Lets not act like every promoter is mentioning all their fighters on social media. Oscar only promotes Canelo 24/7 and he doesn't even need it. He never made anyone else a star, barely mentions Linares, Mathysse or his other fighters. Why no rematch? Maybe cause Stevenson had to fight his mandatory or be stripped.
