Floyd gives them fights & you can't force someone to fight like he tried to give us Tank/l0m0 but Tank didn't want it....the dude even complained when Floyd gave him a title shot. The FIGHTERS have to step up NOT Floyd.

Obvious sour g****s from Wilder but I don’t think he’s wrong. Floyd does have obvious and massive ego problems.

this is what i dont get about floyd. he should be happy to see other african americans at the top with him!!

it's not like ALL blacks or all whites, asians, latinos can be at the level. so when you see one of your own that made it, you should embrace it!!!

all this is over insecurity. floyd feels that if these other guys get the shine then people wont talk about him anymore but that's part of the game. out with the old, in with the new.

you dont hear fans talking about fighters from the past as often as they do with the new current top fighters! this doesnt mean that those old fighters werent good. it just means that their time is over.

but when ATGs gets brought up, those names will ring bells, same goes for floyd. he just needs to chill and accept his place in this boxing history.

Honestly he was never a good Promoter, besides promoting him self. You gotta be 100% committed in it but he's only committed to him self.

I don't think he mentioned Tank's name one time. Him and Oscar will bbth be out of the promotional game within five years once the money's gone and their names alone can no longer bring in any more big time backers. I hope the Mayweathers are able to keep the gym open, that does seem to be a positive that arose from Floyd donning the promotional hat.

Badou was a fighter that was written off by everyone and I’m a fan but he has the personality of a tree there is really nothing you can do to make him a star , the only thing you can do is keep putting him in big fights and while he will never cross over hopefully his name has some buzz among boxing fans

Mayweathers influence certainly helped land him the Dirrell fight for the title and land the Stevenson fight

The Groves and Cleverly fights were on his PPvs

And he got a fight with Degeale

All good / big fights and I’m sure he got paid well , He probably got paid more and given more opportunities then if he was with any other Promoter in that 3 year span

Mayweather is going to make you earn your spot and Jack has been given the opportunities because he’s down to take the big fights when presented

If your a fighter like Bey or Love who turn down big fights when presented you get put on the shelf. Mayweather wants Fighters that we’re as hungry as he was
The promoters job isn't to make you earn your spot. Its to get you more than you deserve. Further, if you have to assume a guy got paid well, then he likely didn't. For as good of a fighter as Baduo Jack is, for as good of a person as Badou Jack is, he should be far more popular.

Let's put it in to perspective. Mayweather promotes Girl Code more than he promotes Jack. He only talks about him AFTER a fight is signed. You see Hearn (who I'm not a fan of), he talks about his fighters as if they are the best of this generation. Khan Brook isn't even close to happening, but he talks about it. Why, to promote the dang fight.

What influence is Mayweather wielding? It's all conjecture. No one thanks Mayweather for putting anything together, facilitating negotiations, or anything. Now I'm not saying he does nothing, but the stuff we give him credit for should at least be evidenced instead of assumed.

How many times do you hear any other promoter talk about their stable? They have the media do the work. Ask bob, he has connections...….
