Why doesn't the supposed best manager in the world make offers to any of these? There's plenty of fighters to make offers to. But one suspects Haymon isn't making any such offers and prefers Ortiz to rot on undercards fighting trash. No one to blame but themselves. They either make legit offers and see what they all have to say, or everybody shuts up about the irrelevant Ortiz and let him get on with it.Comment

For the record, I don't think anywhere is the home of boxing. With the support boxing gets over here, the US can't lay claim any more. This isn't the early 2000's any more. A lot has changed since then.Comment

And Whyte isn't a bum. He's a good fighter in the top 5. If he were to get a chance at Deontay, not a single doubt in my mind he knocks him out.Comment

When did I say Britain was the home of boxing? I never said that at all.

You keep coming back to that same argument that support in the UK is tops and the U.S. is no longer the home of boxing. What am I missing? Just because AJ fills soccer stadiums doesn't mean he's the king. Those packed soccer stadiums still only pull a gate of $10 million, not the $10 billion that you are imagining. If Paulie Malinaggi comes out of retirement to fight in a soccer stadium and they charge $12.50 to get in, he will also sell 80,000 seats.
You think the home of boxing is due to the money it makes and not the support?
AJ's the king because he's the number 1 at the weight, not due to how he sells. But it does add to it.
I never once imagined the fights over here were pulling in 10 Billion.
Malignaggi would sell 80,000 seats? Erm, no he wouldn't. He wouldn't even sell out an arena.Comment

even a small child knows that is not how boxing works
FACT: Hearn low-balled Wilder with a flat-fee..... but then he slipped up and admitted that Wilder is worth at least 35%
FACT: they paid Joseph Parker 32.5%..... because they actually wanted to fight Joseph Parker
FACT: they low-balled Deontay Wilder..... because they had no intention of fighting ******* ******
I will let you fill in the blanks.....
It doesn't stop the fact that that's still his biggest pay offer.
Am not interested in this your copy and paste shhite. It means nothing to me.Comment
