No, because the US is the home of boxing. The UK is a piddly little island.

The US hasn't been the home of boxing for years. The UK has been getting the biggest shows in the world in stadiums while the US struggles to fill an arena.

Most Americans agree with the UK now being the home. But you do still get some bitter and insecure Americans who do still live in the past. Just accept it and it won't hurt so much. Fight it and you'll just look silly. Your choice.

No disrespect but this is domestic level logic. Essentially, due to the lack of exposure and nationalistic hesitancy to support the fighter, it's easy to simply write him off as a nobody . From what I'm hearing, Ortiz isn't a better fight, even though Ortiz is a better fighter than Chisora.

I never said Ortiz wasn't good because he is. But it's true he doesn't do much for fans around the world. The Chisora fight is wanted by many more people. Not me, i'd prefer the Ortiz fight. But I understand why many others want the rematch.

To be fair, Chisora proved to have a better resume than Ortiz just with that Takam win. That's how bad Ortiz' resume is.

If he's with the most powerful manger in the world as so many say, why isn't he making big offers to fighters in the top 10 to get in there and fight Ortiz? Make those offers and lets see who takes it or who ducks? If you believe he isn't the most powerful, then that's fair enough. But if he is in your eyes, why isn't he doing all he can for him? Why so many bums for short money? Does Haymon expect to get the better fighters for chump change or something?

When wilder is man enough to accept that he's is a distant B side and sign the contract I will know as well.
Or maybe when they start creating paper work for their supposedly offer, I will begin to take them serious.

Anything other than that is just to rebuild his little lost credibility.

These guys know all these things, they just deliberately play dumb or ignorant.
You can't send a contract, you can't seat 5k people to watch you, you are not commercially viable, you mostly fight as undercard for short money and you want people to believe you are been ducked when everyone knows your best win.
Gone are those days a fighter use media to get a title shot, it doesn't work anymore more.

Fight your way up and become a mandatory or improve your market value and attract other top 10 fighters. Boxing is not charity sport.

If Whyte prefers a domestic level fight vs Chisora, who exactly is Ortiz supposed to fight? What good is there to overpay one of the guys Joshua and Whyte beat when Joshua and Whyte are the guys you're trying to fight. Parker wants no part of anyone near top level.

I don't know what to say. You genuinely seem to believe in your heart that the UK is the new home of boxing. From my angle, there seem to be maybe 2 or 3 significant fights that happen over there per year, but those apparently mean a lot to you.
