Crazy Eddie annoys me more and more. 1st ppv and more $. With his own admission that Whyte did 300,000 buys at a rate 3x's less than Wlder vs Fury the PPV #'s in the UK would have been close to 1,000,000 buys. Even the article puts the PPV revenue as 3x's more 24 to 8 million. Hearn keeps hurting AJ. Joshua must tell his idiot promoter to STFU.Comment

I do think it’s the best country to come from to be a star.In America it is because boxing has to compete against other multi billion dollar industry sports like college football, college basketball, the NFL, NBA, MLB and the NHL.
Where as in the U.K. The market is at least five times smaller. It is much smaller than the U.S. All boxing has to compete against in that country is largely soccer.
The interest is there and the pr machine. The amateur scene is and team GB are i’d imagine the best finder out there.
I doubt AJ is gonna be the one and only.
There’s gonna be a few like him in the next 10 years I thinkComment

This proves once again Hearn doesn't understand the American market and DAZN is wasting money with him. They need to bring in a real American promoterComment

It doesn't matter how old he is Floyd wasn't a PPV star until his 30's and he's the biggest draw in the history of the sport.
Canelo has been pushed as a star from his teen's and has been on PPV since his early 20's he's the biggest PPV seller in the sport currently by far so to compare his numbers to a guy's first PPV is just so dumb it's hard to believe you are even serious.
He's not a star yet but 325k PPV and PPV sales and gate sales on his first PPV show great potential. Not even close to terrible. Infact for a first PPV it's very good.Comment
