Yeah because he's built a name.
This was Wilder and Fury's first PPV and at 80 dollars to sell 325k is no where close to terrible.
What was Floyd's first PPV? Pacquaio's first PPV? Oscar's first PPV? All around the 300k mark.
Your idea of what good numbers are is so out of touch with reality it's insane.Comment

Why are u all so defensive. They are poor figures, its irrelevant whether its his first ppv or not. It did a quarter of what canelo/ggg did, two foreign fighters. Wilder had more than enough time to build a fanbase but he fought bums instead. Hes had 40 damn fights and hes 32 (i think) you people act like hes just come out of nappiesYeah because he's built a name.

And what's the source? Kevin Iole is the best in the business at Yahoo and he said the number was 325k. Unbiased and always giving the best information.
Whose your source?Comment

In America it is because boxing has to compete against other multi billion dollar industry sports like college football, college basketball, the NFL, NBA, MLB and the NHL.
Where as in the U.K. The market is at least five times smaller. It is much smaller than the U.S. All boxing has to compete against in that country is largely soccer.Comment

Haha 😂. I would PPV that to be fair.He don’t half speak some bollocks sometimes.
Yanks inexplicably are prepared to pay £60 odd quid or whatever the exchange rate is now for a PPV. So obviously massive dough. £10 million quid for Wilder? That’s big money.
If you charged price over here for PPV Eddie and Adam Smith would crammed into a cannon and fired into the AtlanticComment
