Fury has more boxing talent in his pinky finger than Joshua and Wilder put together. I'm good with any of the 3 fighting each other, but I'd rather Fury stay busy with a fight, then wait.
Wilder only agreed to fight Povetkin in Russia because Haymon lost the purse bid and Deontay would have lost his WBC title by default if he hadn't agreed to it.

If he hadn't tested positive for meldonium, Povetkin would have KO'd Wilder, imo.

According to Shelly Finkel, they knew right from the start that the fight would be at the Staples Center.

          This.

Hearn can make any fight happen at HW if he merely pays guys the value they bring & Wilder & Fury now bring the most value to Joshua getting his best payday. Granted Wilder or Fury would also get their best payday, but the reality is all sides will be getting their biggest payday once either of these fights are made.

They did 325k buys on their FIRST PPV. They are both much bigger names stateside now after the first. The buzz will generate for the rematch and the controversial draw will help it. Both guys will do what they do on the mic and sell it even better than the first one.

And I saw very little to NO outcry on ESPN sports shows on Monday. First Take talked about the great in a favorable manner, so did Jalen and Jacoby as did High Noon. If anything, everyone was intrigued with the rematch and satisfied with what they saw. The fans got their moneys worth.

Did I see Wilder winning four rounds? Yes, in fact that is how I scored the fight. Rounds 2, 4, 9 and 12 to Wilder.

Fight was just one sided minus the KDs? Well, for one you can take the KDs away and the 12th round was dramatic when it seemed like Fury was out cold and how he came roaring back.

Did Wilder sweep the first four rounds? Of course not, but damn near no one is saying that, are they? That is widely agreed to being a bad card.

We’re beating a dead horse here. We *all* know it’s a bad card. A card that cost a fighter a deserved victory. That’s mostly the point. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter, the result will stand.

I don’t think Fury will go back on his word. He’s got plenty of money to make.

As for the rest, we’ll just have to wait and see. Not much else you and I can say to each other that we haven’t already said.

I hope you’re right and it does how you hope it will and I also hope you’re not disappointed if it doesn’t, because I don’t think it will.

Appreciate how you’ve tried to articulate your argument and for keeping it classy.

According to Shelly Finkel, they knew all along that the Staples Center was going to be the venue, but they didn't want to announce it.

I'm sure he was lying about that, but that's what he said:

To hell with Hearn, let's have a rematch between Fury and Wilder and put Joshua back in his place again. Joshua clearly ducked Wilder, or Hearn didn't want it, and Fury came back and looked great in his return, which is exactly what they didn't want.

I'm sure when it became clearer Vegas wasn't going to work out then of course he knew Staples Center was going to be the venue lol.

Either way, I HIGHLY doubt the reason the fight didn't take place in Vegas was because Warren couldn't pick independent judges.

Hearn is taking a page from Canelo's book, waiting for Fury or Wilder's performance to slip a bit. AJ's mechanical style isn't capable of solving the unpredictable styles of Wilder and Fury right now. Perhaps in 2-3 years when their legs are worn and reflexes diminished. In the meantime, AJ will be making a ton of money fighting b-level fighters.
