Yeah but If Hearn think Joshua could come to the US and sell out any venue without facing Wilder he's kidding himself, and If Fury vs Wilder had taken place in the UK it would have sold out without any issues so he's really not saying much....bunch of gibber jabber.

Fact is last weekend the best fought the best, and they keep putting AJ in with C class talent. AJ going to end up losing to 1 of these C class guys and their whole plan is going to end up backfiring. AJ is not getting any younger himself.

Joshua and C class talent? Have you looked at the other two guys resumes? If he's fighting C class talent as you say, then he's doing alright for taking up boxing one year before Wilder turned professional.

This entire event was a risky gamble for team Wilder and imo he was done zero favors up until the decision was read. Choice in venue was bad, idk who thought they could sell out staples without a Mexican draw on the card.

As far as the ppv number I saw reports that its gonna do somewhere between 300k min - 400k in the US. Respectable numbers for their 1st ppv but only a small success because they only managed to just squeak past their break even mark (250K buys according to multiple sources).

I said from the beginning putting this on ppv was only going to give Hearn more ammo and the fact that they didn't at least sell out the arena is even worse.

I saw a lot of people on twitter saying that they were able to get free tickets at the arena. I'm curious to know what the actual gate revenue is gonna be

Hearn talks as if AJ wouldn't earn more fighting these guys too. He talks as if the guys Joshua actually does fight would sell out arenas and do big PPV numbers vs other opponents. His excuses not to fight these guys should be excuses not to fight anyone in the division, yet AJ does fight others...so why does drawing power only affect AJ's decision to fight when it's Fury or Wilder?

Yeah, I agree. Joshua will just continue to fight third rate fighters that he’s beat already. It makes me wish Klitschko beat Joshua when they fought. At the time I was hoping Joshua would win but even a 42 year old Klitschko would have fought Fury & Wilder.

It's good people are starting to realise what a slimy **** Hearn is.
You can tell by his words here that he's pissed off and on the defensive about his golden goose Joshua losing credibility if he doesn't fight Wilder or Fury soon.

He was saying for months that he didn't even believe Fury Wilder would happen, before they announced the venue.
It did happen and now boxing won't accept Joshua as number one until he proves it by fighting Wilder and Fury.
