It is hard to blame anyone in this situation. The ref ended the fight when he was supposed to.

This is unfortunately one of the risks every fighter takes when they enter the ring. Regardless of age.

I guess i would be for age restriction, but this probably had less to do with age and more to do with bad luck.

This is a really bad look for the sport of boxing, or at least it should be. Sad that boxing is so small time in the United States that the sports media doesn't care about the safety of its athletes. This would have sparked a national discussion about concussions and brain injuries if something like this happened to an NFL player.

I know many fighters are not saints but I will not support or well wish EVIL people.

They try and injure people legally, they don’t abhorrent abuse innocebt victims illegally. BIG difference
You likely couldn't imagine the circumstances Stevenson grew up in, much less survive them. Desperate people do desperate things. Not that it gives them a pass. All the same, I try not to judge people or wish harm on them. If going on a comment section to badmouth a dying man makes you feel better about yourself go right ahead. But if you think anybody applauds you for doing it, you are mistaken. A creep is a creep.

Putting value on red and green k on a boxing forum, really says a lot about your own life...
You know your life is ****ed up, that's why your character is deranged lol...

Some people believe a few people every year should die in boxing.

Deontay Wilder said he wanted to kill someone in the ring.

Many boxers would like to end at least one life in the ring.

Its just the nature of boxing. The circle of life.

So sorry to hear that. Based on this there's probably an extremely slim chance that he will ever walk again if he even regains consciousness. I feel so bad for his new child and wife/GF.
