The Povetkin thing was his own fault. Pretty sure it was the third? Time he pissed hot in his career? And that was after Wilder was supposed to fight Povetkin earlier and Pov had the fight delayed because he wanted to defend his Silver belt instead of taking a world title shot (who the hell does that?)
With Ortiz the fight also got cancelled when he pissed hot, but Wilder gave another chance/put the fight back on when it came out that it was for blood pressure meds.

As for the Parker thing, in the interview I read it was when wilder and Joshua were on better teens it seems, Wilder was mad at Parker for pulling out and he said “end of the day it doesn’t matter if I get his belt, or he goes and fights Joshua and Joshua gets his belt. The fight will eventually be me and Joshua”

Also, since you remembered that the washjngto fight was his return from a broken hand, remember that he broke it IN the Stiverne fight haha.

The first Stiverne match was a great bout. It’s what I like to point to when people say Wilder has no technical ability. Also, if memory serves me right, Stiverne was almost out on his feet and saved by the bell for round 4.

$5 million gate for this FIRST fight in LA. That number will double for the rematch in Vegas, and will be close to the gates Joshua produces in his Wembley Stadium fights.

Idk man he has always looked like a little roly-poly fat boy to me. I thought Wilder should have done in fight 1 what he did in fight 2. Some of these guys look like midgets compared to the real super-heavyweights out there. And I follow boxing pretty closely and the only name I recognize on Stiverne's resume besides Wilder is Chris Arreola, who is not a great fighter either.

Wilder is growing on me but if you're expecting me to start hyping up Stiverne I'm gonna have to sit that one out lol

There was a huge difference in Stiverne in I and II. In II heavier, untrained, was a joke, just a payday and corrupt that it was ever ordered. First one was a decent fight because Stiverne had 1 punch KO power too.
