Granted Joshua is still gonna be the guy with the best numbers for time being, but that #1 spot seems less secure now.
Whyte has rebuilt himself since the AJ defeat. Miller has personality but doesn't have a signature win, Ortiz has looked ordinary in every fight other than Jennings and Wilder, Parker needs to be rebuild himself. I love Del Boy but he has a ton of mileage. DuBois and Joyce are still prospects. None of these guys generate the buzz that AJ, Wilder and Fury generate yet one of them will probably be the opponent for the odd fighter out.

If the PPV revenue matches the aftermath of the event, then Wilder will have leverage. If not, his team's going to be attempting to negotiate a deal behind the scenes. Unless the event was a massive success they're not going to jeopardize a career high payday against Joshua without coming back to the table with Hearn.
From the perspective of Wilder's manager/advisor/promoter, would you be eager to pit him against Fury again for $8-12M (assuming the first was a financial success) or reattempt a negotiation for Joshua for double, triple, perhaps even quadruple that? (If you answer the former, you wouldn't be Wilder's manager/advisor/promoter)
Whether the fight was a success or not, Hearn overplayed his hand and will find it tough to get the deal that he received earlier this year. Lucky for him that Wilder's popularity will make up for it by making the potential pot bigger today than it would've been.

Hearn will still have to respect the fact he's WBC champ, even if he shouldn't be. So if they want that belt like they say, then that has to come into it.
Wilder has also shown he can be part of a big fight that everyone is talking about everywhere, it's been all over main****** news and TV and probably sold fairly well. Yeah, a lot of that is because Fury was involved too but that doesn't matter, they can't prove which fighter was more important in bringing the revenue. It's the event that sold and got attention.
Wilder is in a good place right now i think, despite the fact most thought he lost. He can make big money in a rematch and his profile has definitely gone up, so Hearn will have to acknowledge that if he wants to make a sensible offer.
Even if Wilder goes and fights Breazeale, i'd say he will probably earn a bit more than he usually does against fighters on that level.

Wilder is a true man of his word
I am enjoying this. Go fuck yourself AJ Gay coward and fight your bums for money and fame in the eastern. I respect Fury more than this coward who hide behind Eddie Hearns. Fury step up and fought Wilder while Joshua fought timid against a former paper champion in Joseph Parker and KO a shot old Povetkin. That is something I like about Wilder and well said in his part. That is the thinking of a true man, to fight the rematch with Tyson Fury after that scare of losing that shiny WBC belt.

Wilder gone need a little more practice to beat fury outright. Joshua that's an easy fight for wilder for joshua doesn't move and easy to hit plus usually gets caught so I don't see him taking Wilder shots all night. Plus it'd give him more credibility and practice plus make the rematch with fury like 3-5x bigger
